Not here to drag the owner but simply to warn potential guests that this is not a safe or acceptable place for anyone to have to stay. It is half the price of all other hotels in town for a reason. The photos posted on various websites by the owner do not reflect the current condition of this hotel. The restaurant has burned down. There is no wifi. The ancient box televisions do not work. The locks on the doors are not secure. The lighting and signage has all broken or gone out. There are permanent residents that appear criminal on the property. There are unleashed dogs in the parking lot. There are no non-smoking rooms. The foundation of the building is leaning.
No one deserves to stay in a place this unsafe and defunct. I'm a fairly basic motel guest type, and I would never set foot on this property again. Definitely not safe for single travelers or appropriate for families. If you're still willing to take a chance after reading this, be prepared to have to run from this motel and spring for a last minute hotel in Revelstoke at a higher price point. Do yourself a favor, skip that step, and book elsewhere.

This is what you call a walk in and walk out motel couldn’t even find the light switch to turn on and no washroom. And you couldn’t see in the room anyway it was so dark. The front of the hotel reflects the care that they’re taking.

We called this motel around 10 pm asking if they had a room. The front desk guy said he could “help” us and offered a room someone had just checked out of. He admitted it was still dirty and hadn’t been serviced yet, but we figured “okay, messy is fine” since we just needed a place for the night. We paid $70, got handed some new sheets and pillow covers, and went to the room. What we walked into was absolutely disgusting and unsafe. There weren’t just crumbs or dirt, it was a room with blood stains and fecal spots from bed bugs all over the mattress and even the lampshade. Bed bugs spread fast, and no one should ever be expected to sleep in conditions like that. We immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a refund since we hadn’t used the room at all. The guy flat-out refused. First, he said he couldn’t because he “already gave us a discount.” Then he said the cash register was closed and only he could issue refunds. When I asked for his manager’s number, he refused to give it to me. then told us he would give us double bedding (which would not fix anything). The whole thing felt extremely shady, like he was trying to pocket the money himself. After going back and forth for way too long, I finally told him we’d just come back the next day. Then suddenly, he “changed his mind” and decided he could actually reopen the register and give the money back on the spot. So clearly, he lied about not being able to do it in the first place. To make it worse, he had been drinking and was visibly sketchy the entire time. This was one of the most unprofessional and unsafe experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. Between the evidence of bed bugs, the lies about the refund, and the staff drinking, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Honestly, I’d rather sleep on the side of the road than ever step foot in this motel again.

Very good value. Where else will you find a room for less than $70 in peak season? It is very very basic, but clean and safe. The rooms are tiny so I would not stay here for an extended time, but perfect for a budget traveller who is stopping over for the night. Sadly the iconic restaurant burned down recently, so I was not able to relive my memories of that kitschy cowboy saloon atmosphere. Our room smelled slightly of tobacco smoke - not sure if they all do. Check in and check out is done through the convenience store at the attached gas station.

They were super hospitable having us arrive past the check in time when we called a few hours in advance and let us bring the dog with zero issues (10$ fee).
Bed was comfy, shower had loads of hot water and the towels were clean what more could you ask for when you're paying under 100$/night after tax in 2025.
I'd have gave everything 5☆s but the room smelled of cigarettes I aired it out for 20 minutes and sprayed an air freshener (I'm hyper sensitive so always have a concentrate in my gear) and left the windows cracked and we were fine.
It was quiet for the location and we slept just fine :) will definitely go back if we're in the area, compared to the 200 after tax with a pet at the next cheapest place that allows 50+lb dogs this place is a win.
Its not a five star hotel but its not supposed to be. Reasonably priced for a quick night stop and shower. We have been staying here once a year for 6 years and honestly when my husband brought me here for the first time I was shocked and said no way. But the room was clean and no smells (even though you think there might be). We have met so many people with great stories. Ya, its not a looker but for $70 what do you want!

Me and a friend stayed here twice in summer found the occasional spider that needed to go squish, the beds were comfy same with bedding, TV did not work, was tad far to walk to town, but there is a bus for 2$ infront of the ramada that will take you downtown and also to the ski hill, which was nice, it's outdated but can't beat the price
