Our experience was a bit irritating. Came in at 3:30. There was a sign outside advertising today’s specials (mushroom soup) and some other food. When we came in, staff was chatting in the kitchen. I grew up in Revelstoke and worked at The Modern 8 years ago and recently visited to try all my favorite treats that I grew up on and they just aren't comparable now, the icing is so much less and the cakes aren't the same as they were. Heres a picture of what the carrot cake was previously and what it looks like now and its just not the same. You got to stop by this bakery if in Revy. The baked goods are so fresh and made with very good quality ingredients. The service is super friendly, and the coffee was amazing. Patio seating is available.
