Moved up to the lake from Vancouver, got a little take away lunch while traveling to Trail. Hands down best dynamite combo outside of the coast. The rice sooooo good and amazing the hand work. Definitely worth the drive. ????

What can I say. No beer. Sushi was dry rice was dry the water was warm, no ice. Probably the worst sushi I've ever had. The soy sauce was good and the pickled ginger was good but that's about it.

If you want to eat here I recommend ordering/showing up at least an hour before their posted closing time. I swear half the time I've tried to order they've been closed early. Food is good though.

First time sushi was good but it was takeout only, when waiting for the sushi to be made the owners were very nice and engaging. We were planning on going again but we found some stuff saying the health levels weren't good and we weren't willing to risk it at that point.

As per my husband’s review where the owner said that he doesn’t recall it happening when we went to order takeout at 1:45pm to be told very rudely told that they were closed.This is the 2nd time it’s happened to us! Back before COVID - Same thing - rude as anything telling us they’re closed through the locked door. That time it was 1:30pm.If you’re closing at 1:45pm put that on your door - don’t put 2:00pm and either lock up or stop serving at 1:45pm.When I have actually managed to get food - it’s nice but the service is like we’re doing them a favour by ordering food from them.Well I won’t be treated like this and if they really don’t care for the business then I don’t care what I eat there!I’m all for shopping and eating local - but only for good food and courteous service!

At 1.45 asked if they were serving? Answer “No”, although people were still eating. The sign states it closes at 2pm. Very abrupt and rude won’t go again.

Been dealing with these guys for years. They both have bad attitudes and act like an order is the biggest inconvenience. Unfortunately its a case of no where else to get sushi so they have a captive audience and never improve. Sometimes the fish is old and weird tasting.

Our California and yam tempura roll were really enjoyable. I would have preferred a deveined prawn in the dynamite roll. Vegetable tempura was mostly orange veggies - carrot, yam and squash. This is the best sushi in Rossland BC ;)

Pretty rough attitude from the owners/operators. It's like it's a huge inconvenience that you purchase goods from them and supply them with income. Can be quite rude as well. Also sushi is sub par..which is unfortunate for a sushi place.

Paper thin fish cuts on the sushi. Questionable freshness on some ingredients.If you love sushi you'll be disappointed. If you are sushi novice it might ruin out for you.
