“We want to give a shout out to the amazing team at the Steamshovel. We went there for my birthday dinner tonight and despite having their order system down and needing to do everything by hand, they all
had such happy attitudes. The gal who helped us get a table and waitlist sorted, the guy who took our drink orders and Shaq Attack who was our server were all the best and super positive. Loved the food as usual and had a great time there for my birthday!“

“Stopped in for a beer and to get out of the heat. Never expected to find such a cool lounge in Trail. With the wood paneling, cosy tables and exquisite stain glass I thought we stepped back in time to a 1920's jazz club.
It was quiet when we stopped in, and the manager was friendly and chatted with us for a bit. A surprising and refreshing find. I would to stop in again and try one of their cocktails, they all looked yummy.“

They also have take home options so you can (try to) recreate their drinks at home!
My fav combo so far is the pink gin and strawberry rhubarb syrup with some club soda and lime juice.
From my understanding the strawberry rhubarb syrup is seasonal but I’m not too upset about it because I trust they will have other fantastic options to try!
The lounge has great atmosphere and the service is always very friendly and personalized. Also lots of games to play while there.
