I love their caprese salad, and pasta. This is my go to restaurant when i have family visiting from out of town (especially when the enjoy fine dining)!

Unbelievable food and experience every time. Gone over 50+ times both bar and Restaurent are fantastic. Best pizza in the kootenays. Pasta is to die for. Trip around Italy is absolutely incredible. Done it 5 times now. Highly recommend breakfast there as well in the diner.

Parking: No issue finding parking across the street or on street or behind or at hotel.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly.

Four of us enjoyed dining at Gabriella’s for her exquisite "A Taste of Italy" themed dinner, which was nothing short of extraordinary! This is not just a meal; it's an immersive experience that transports you straight to the heart of Italy. The 6-course dinner was thoughtfully curated, each dish representing a different region of Italy, and the attention to detail was impeccable.

When we arrived, it was clear that this was a special place. We had a window seat which allowed us to see across the valley, which reminded me of Park City, Utah. The warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening ahead. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating stories about the origins of each dish and the regions they hailed from. It was like getting a mini culinary tour of Italy!

What stood out to me was the thoughtfulness and care that went into every dish. The presentation was stunning, and the portions were just right, leaving us satisfied. The pacing was perfect, allowing us to savour each bite and be social without feeling rushed.

The wine pairings enhanced the experience even further.

Having Chef Gabriella meet and speak with us after our dinner was a nice touch!

If you're looking for a dining experience that is both delicious and educational, Gabriella’s is an absolute must-visit. Just be sure to book ahead—this is a popular spot for good reason! I can't wait to return and see her next variation of plates from Italy. We highly recommend it!

The menu has a mix of classics and original dishes, and everything I tried was delicious in taste and texture. The gnocchi is great, but I did find myself getting tired of the gorgonzola sauce before finishing the dish.

Outdoor seating with table service in a calm setting makes for a destination for breakfast. The French toast with smoked ham is very yummy. Coffee is mild and bottomless for drip.

I helped plan my cousins wedding in July 2024. Gabriella was so easy to communicate with, was open to our needs, had great suggestions. The food was AMAZING - people are still talking about it. The venue was perfect for what we wanted. Jillian was lovely to work with as well. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

Found this gem of a place by accident and was blown away by the experience at Gabriella's. We sat out on the deck overlooking the very nice valley. And then the food came, homemade pasta and in-house made sauces for the pasta. The taste was incredible!! I definitely will be going back there next time I'm in town! So normally, I don’t like guys who are named Jeff with a J. But this Jeff with a J brought it to the table let me tell you Mojitos 10 out of 10 Chicks 5.9 Cummins if you know what I’m talking about. If you don’t go here and eat your either on a budget or out of time. Never be out of Time.

I had an excellent experience this past weekend at Gabriella's when visiting Rossland for a wedding, we had dinner the night before on the Friday and everyone was very pleased with their meals- steak, veal, pasta puttanesca etc. I had the pasta pescatore (seafood pasta) with linguini and it was phenomenal- the seafood was cooked perfectly, it tasted homemade like my Italian family makes. The wedding buffet spread was also impeccable- several salads, prime rib with gravy, roasted potatoes and veggies, lemon chicken, homemade bread and the homemade pizza at the end of the night was to die for! I can't speak to the desserts as I didn't have any of them but I would imagine they were also great. Lastly, I had an amazing salmon benedict to end my trip on the Sunday morning and that was a pleasant ending. Gabriella's has fantastic food, service and a huge kudos to the people that operate it, the owner/head chef Gabriella clearly is passionate about cooking and it was an honor to spend time chatting with her. If you enjoy Italian food and are in Rossland, you cannot leave without a visit to Gabriella's! Shout out to Deb as well for serving us more than once with the best service. 6/5 stars, I will definitely return in the future when I visit.

Went for our anniversary and would never go back. Service in the restaurant was descent but the lounge and the server in the lounge ( a male server) did not give us the time of day or even ask if we needed water or anything!
Sorry but what terrible service! Go to the Josie or Idgies, Columbia had great service) but not here ..unfortunately:(
