The BEST croissants

Maya Takahashi

Hands down best bakery in BC. The fougasse is always amazing, go early while they're still warm. Awesome pastries, breads and cookies too.

Odd hours for a bakery but it made it easy to be there in time for a major selection. I had an 2 almond, 2 almond chocolate, 2 Maple, and a plain croissant, a chocolate loaf, and a cinnamon pull apart. No complaints. I ate it all in a couple of days.

Baguette was some of the best bread I have ever had. Will be going back daily while staying at Red Mountain. Pastries (almond and chocolate croissants) were also excellent.

Wonderful bakery!
Came upon a line of locals, standing in the cool fresh air and bakery aromas, all awaiting a chance to purchase a wide variety of baked breads and treats!

Rossland, you are spoiled having this bakery in town! Such lovely treats and delicious bread. Never imagined I could find European flair in such small ski town but I am so glad I did!

This is the best bakery I have been to in BC (and better than many bakeries I went to in France). Rossland should consider itself lucky to have such a gem.

Everything I have tried here has been fantastic. My only minor complaint is about the crumb of the baguettes which is not quite right, not airy enough in my opinion. However, the flavour is so good that I cannot bring myself to give this place anything other than the 5 stars it deserves.

I try to schedule trips to Rossland around when Hoopers is open. Even when I try to stick to a few things, I always take away more. The scones and all the croissants are favourites. As is the foccacia, sourdough and olive and rosemary baguettes. Okay really everything. But today I had the Earl Grey Croissant for the first time. It doesn't get any better than that. Wow! What a pure treat that was. Taking away from here is like a little trip to Europe.

Interesting baked goods. Double baked almond croissant has almond filling. It’s rich and delicious!

So many good things about this small town bakery. I am a big fan of their Pain au chocolat, baguettes, and sourdough loaves, which are consistently perfect. If you're lucky enough to catch them on a sandwich day, that's always a nice treat.

I am personally offended that this place doesn’t (yet) have a perfect 5.0. Amazing baked goods, some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere definitely worth a detour to check out and absolutely mandatory if you’re in Rossland.
