Great, food! Fantasic portion sizes!
Victor’s new Mexican concept at the restaurant is a total hit! The stunning menu and amazing drinks, especially the dragon fruit margaritas, were a big favorite with our group. For my birthday, the restaurant went all out with beautiful decor, a delicious cake, and a personalized card, making the celebration truly special. The food was outstanding-I had the quesabirria, which was absolutely crave-worthy, and we enjoyed several house-made salsas that were packed with flavor. Although the online presentation still shows the old bistro style, don’t let that confuse you-this Mexican spot offers one of the best dining experiences around. Highly recommended!
Cozy & homey, with an excellent Mexican-style menu. The prawn burger is a great way to have both a burger and seafood at the same time!
Idgies was formerly a wonderful fine dining restaurant, and I have had several terrific and memorable meals there. Alas, that Idgies is no more, and in its place is a similarly named, or possibly different (depending which documentation you refer to) Mexican restaurant.
We walked in, and with no one to seat us, and no ‘Please wait to be seated’ sign, we somewhat awkwardly seated ourselves. The (possibly) owner soon came over and seemed less than happy we had been so presumptuous. Not a great start.
The classic Margaritas were bad, there’s no other way to say it. It seemed like there was almost no tequila or triple sec. The food was okay, not great. Maybe these are growing pains.
One recommendation to the new owners. If you were intending to deliver the same type of food that the previous incarnation of Idgies produced, then it would be possibly appropriate to retain the name. But since you are delivering completely different food, you owe it to the dining public to change the name to reflect the change in cuisine.
This is the first place I've ever left before being served our main course. I guess we should have realized when they had no record of our reservation and the table next to us said they got a free desert because the order was screwed up. Our appetizer was good, but an hour and a half later, after being told our food was next, we find out that our order was lost and not even started. With less than 20 people in a small space, how can they not even notice? The problem must be systemic as our server did everything to avoid eye contact. We had to go over and ask for the bill for what we got an hour ago, so we could leave and find food somewhere else. At least they comped the appetizers.
Very busy place. Got in trouble when a couple decided to join our reservation for 8. Quarters are tight and they weren’t happy about the addition. Neither was I and I’ve made mention. Thought the food was good. I hade the enchiladas with mole. A bit of spice to warm a chilly night.
Change of ownership & food type recently so now serving fab Mexican. Very reasonably priced, yummy choices & great margaritas
Had the fresh halibut special and, as usual, the food was great! One thing that is special about Idgie’s is that you get a great variety and amount of veg with every meal. I find most restaurants skimp on the vegetables these days. Lovely people working there too.

French (good) food but we were disappointed compared to DEC2022. Main courses were less special and presented less fancy, deserts were cheap/not fresh home made. But prices were same if not higher.... All sides were the same for all mains and nothing special (mashed patatos, green beans and ...). Service was efficient but a little rude.... No longer our favourite restaurant in Rosland

I had their steak and their calamari was fried instead of deep fried but overall it was very good. Yes I will go back.
