Visiting from the US;
Called to order a Margherita and a Hawaiironi.

Super friendly.
We have eaten Neapolitan pizzas all over the world. This is just fantastic.
Completely beat our expectations.

Andy knows his stuff.

Best restaurant in Rossland. Hands down. We ordered the Blue Hawaiian & the Tricolore. We added pepperoni to the Tricolore. Both were amazing.

Delicious pizza dough. Beautifully blistered crust. Fresh ingredients and great customer service. He made it look easy. Wonderful experience and the pizza was well enjoyed. Thank you!

Some of the best pizza I have had hands down. Don’t let the street view fool you. The product is absolutely worth it and the service was great! Call ahead to order as he gets pretty busy which is a great tell of how popular it is.

Pizza Bass - Rossland’s Unlikely Culinary Jewel ?

Tucked away in the charming town of Rossland, British Columbia, Pizza Bass might easily be overlooked by the casual passerby. Its modest setting is far removed from the glitzy, urban dining scenes most associate with exceptional pizza. But step inside, and you’ll find a hidden gem that rivals the finest boutique pizzerias in any major city.

Our visit began with the *Dirty Margaret*, a Margherita-style pizza that was anything but traditional. N’duja, Gorgonzola, and a drizzle of hot honey transformed this classic into something spectacular. The spicy, savory heat from the N’duja paired beautifully with the creamy, slightly pungent Gorgonzola, while the honey brought a perfect touch of sweetness to balance the bold flavors. All of this rested on a base of dough that was masterfully light, with a crispy crust that was charred just enough to give it that sought-after smoky flavor.

Next, we indulged in the *Blue Hawaiian*, a daring fusion of Parmesan, Mozzarella, Ham, Pineapple, and Gorgonzola. While pineapple on pizza may stir debates, this rendition silences critics. The salty ham and tangy Gorgonzola melded with the sweet pineapple in a surprising and harmonious balance. Each bite was a delightful contrast of flavors, far removed from your typical "Hawaiian" pizza and showcasing an artistry that is rare to find.

Andy Lewis, the culinary force behind *Pizza Bass*, has clearly honed his skills under the guidance of Marco Fuso in London, and it shows in every meticulously crafted pizza. His attention to detail and innovative use of ingredients elevate this small-town pizzeria to a level that can rival those in cosmopolitan cities like Vancouver, New York, or London.

Simply put, *Pizza Bass* is a reminder that great food knows no boundaries. Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you—this is a dining experience that defies expectations. For anyone from a big city, it’s an impressive find that could easily compete with the best.

Verdict: A must-visit destination for pizza aficionados, and a standout in the heart of Rossland - though it's takeout only, so be prepared to savor this masterpiece at home, or lakeside!

My lady friend and I were passing through Rossland and had a craving for pizza. We found pizza bass after doing a quick google search. After reading a few reviews we decided we must give it a try. It did not disappoint. After ripping up to the door on our rental e-bikes, we were delighted by the unassuming but stellar atmosphere. Service was spot on and my god the dirty margarita is exquisite. 10/10. Will recommend to anyone coming through Rossland and it’ll be the first stop when we return. I’ve had Neapolitan style pizza in many fancy places around the world and this stuff easily compares. It makes me wish I lived in Rossland. I love the concept. It kind of gives me a bit more faith in humanity to be honest. What a vibe

I hope he continues to enjoy making pizzas and making people happy in the process

Finally Rossland has some great pizza!! We enjoyed picking up the pizza in Andy’s basement and chatting with his family when they were there. The pizza is always delicious. We loved the pistachio honey and the prosciutto arugula best. Andy works dang hard to put out the best pizza. So glad he is doing this!!

Unusual ordering process (not a bad thing). Pizza was tasty delish, loin buttering I'd say. I inhaled the sucker in the gent's driveway. It's definitely worth the potential wait. Atmosphere is n/a here because it's take out but the couch was comfy as I recall.
