The food is terrible, typical small town Chinese food restaurant no hidden gem here. Food is terrible, overpriced and the spider webs hanging from the dirty ceiling lights added to the mosh mash assortment of furniture save your money and eat somewhere else.

Ying Cafe in Rossland is an unexpected gem for authentic Chinese cuisine. I had the wonton soup and pork bun and both were out of this world! The broth was smooth and comforting, and the pork bun was perfectly seasoned and tender. The owners are incredibly welcoming. It's rare to find such a cute spot with delicious chinese food in a small mountain town. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Excellent Chinese food. The curry chicken was amazing. Slightly sweet with yellow curry. Veggies were fresh. So much better than the usual Chinese food. They have gluten free options which was awesome. Wow.

Very good food! Just down the street from where we were staying.
We had the red curry which was especially creamy and delicious. We also had the Sechwan chicken which was also good. Wish I had taken some pictures before we snarfed it down.
The owner and his wife made us feel right at home.

Had the most lovely Monday dinner at Ying Cafe. We were tired of eating pizzas and burgers and decided to try Ying Cafe.

We ordered the family dinner for 4 ppl. The portions were huge. My favorite dish was the wonton soup and stir fry noodles especially after a day of skiing. All the dishes were hot and fresh. (we ate the wonton soup to fast and forgot to take a picture)

Ron even played the erhu for us after dinner. It was such a treat. Thank you for the hospitality Ron and Alice.

Found this place a month ago. Been there 3 time's since. We love the beef curried fried rice and the almond chicken. Best egg roles ever. Highly recommended. The owner's are a lovely fun couple.

We stopped in at lunchtime. The restaurant was not open. Regardless, the owner invited us in and served us a delicious meal. He has been in Rossland for 39 years and was very inviting. Highly recommend!!!

Never written a review on google before but this place deserved one. Coolest cats in Rossland for sure, and if you’re lucky you’ll get some live music. 10/10 would recommend

Everyone visiting Rossland must drop in and see Mr Ma and his wife Alice. Amazing hospitality, very authentic Chinese and Thai food. If you are lucky Mr Ma might pull out his Er Hu(Chinese violin) and play for you. We will be back.

We stopped in last night for dinner and we're nicely served and surprised. The cook, Ron, came out to greet us and ask us if we enjoyed our food. The food was great and the vegetables in my red curry were fresh and were cooked perfectly. Ron was very hospitable and we'll definitely be going back there again before we leave.
