my first time there was on a whim, and a solo venture. this place is SO inviting & not to mention CLEAN! service was top notch! their happy hour menu is second to none! michelle was my server, and did it fabulously! the mushroom caps are chefs kiss, and i heard so many other patrons commenting on how good their food was!

Visited on Aug 23rd for lunch with my husband. Under the new ownership we had a fantastic lunch! Service was amazing, food was delicious and their patio was so comfortable! Will be back again soon!

me and my sister-in-law just went there and had the most amazing lunch. We were served with absolute elegance. Muscles were fantastic. The bottle of white wine Pinot Grigio that was recommended was totally on point highly recommend great people great atmosphere great food great drinks five out of five.

I discovered the Hideaway on a stormy dark night. I entered wet and cold. I dragged myself to an empty seat at the bar where Chrystal's compassionate nature took over and she got me a Fat Tug (best beer ever), a menu, and a back scratch. Once my tears of gratitude had dried, I looked at the menu and spotted a donair. I took a chance, because Western Canada's donairs are lacking. I was not disappointed. Once I was warm and full, I was able to pay attention to my surroundings. The bar regulars were enjoying the multitude of sports being shown on all the TVs. Their friendly banter drew me and the sense of camaraderie warmed me for the rest of the evening. The games finished and I went home emotionally, physically and spiritually restored.

Had the fish taco's, cuz I heard they were good. Yes they were the best. FLAVOR...... and the waitress was an experience you couldn't buy. Chrystal I think her name was. Recommend for sure. I see food come out and it all looks great. Beef dip is my next try.

The Hideaway is a favorite stop for lunch or just a drink. They have a great patio and good menu including some really interesting daily specials. The service is excellent, fun and efficient.

We had the Beef Dip, Spicy Crispy chicken burger, Teri-hot wings and Alfredo. All was good wings had a nice Crispness and I preferred the Chicken burger over the beef dip. Waiter was pleasant with enthusiastic energy. Good selection of beers on tap as well.

We waited nearly an hour for our food. About 45 minutes into that wait, the karaoke DJ asked us to move to the other end of the restaurant so he could set up, which we obliged. Then our food finally arrived, but it was greasy and overcooked. Too bad, we used to like this place, but we won't be back.

I had the roasted red pepper and tomato soup special with meatballs, so amazing! I could not finish it. Great staff!
