Great atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food, and over all fantastic experience! We were in town for a hockey tournament and The Hideaway was the only place that would accommodate a dinner party of 35 people. It was as packed in there when we arrived as it was when we left and our server was professional, personable, and her wit was as quick as her service. The kitchen exceeded expectations, the food came to the tables in a timely fashion for how busy it was and everyone raved about their meals tasting delicious. We will absolutely visit The Hideaway again whenever we’re back in Salmon Arm.

I used to come here alot for the food especially the fish and chips.
Today was my last time here. The quality of that fish was disgusting. Cutting food costs has its downsides.
Better off getting a frozen dinner 🤮

Went here with my wife for an evening out. She ordered a veggie quesadilla and side salad. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with grilled chicken and a side salad.

Our server was super friendly and attentive , there was an older lady on shift aswell who kept butting in to our conversation while we ordered, the older lady came across as rude and controlling of her staff . I assume she is the manager. The younger waitress was very friendly and accommodating.

The food arrived pretty quick

Chicken Caesar wrap was an utter disappointment. It was wrapped on a huge flour tortilla with what seemed to be a whole head of lettuce. No dressing , no parmigiana or parmesan, no bacon or croutons just a head of wet lettuce and what I would guess is 1/8 of a chicken breast and to boot the chicken was cold slimy and sour tasting I would guess it went bad the day before

The quesadilla was a basic quesadilla with minimal filling a bit of cheese and onions with a side salad

We barely touched our plates . I told the server to throw mine out my wife took the quesadilla for our dog

After asking for our bill we walked out $100 poorer and still hungry.

Sitting here writing this after our second attempt at dinner . Just finished our beef dips and would highly recommend the barley station brew pub as oppose to the hideaway

My gfs and I went on a Thursday night. The environment was great and our server was lovely and atentative. Food was delicious and had big portions for the price. All around great.

This place changed so much since the new owners took over. Great menu changes and love the new drinks. The staff is nice and friendly and very knowledgeable with my gluten intolerance. The garlic pineapple prawns are absolutely amazing and their gluten free buns are the best I had at a restaurant. The house salad with their own cashew lime dressing is wonderful. Also one of the best looking patios in salmon arm. Definitely check it out

Excellent service and food! My server with the German accent was cute and on the ball! Our whole group enjoyed our night out and he made it super fun. Very fun menu as well!

Great food and tremendous service by the owner tonight! What a fun experience with friends and all of us enjoyed their evening! Had the sweet chili chicken bowl and it was delightful. My wife had the Caesar wrap and it was fresh and crisp and delicious! Food and service was exceptional
