Hungry Panda one of my favorites. Love their pad thai. The boxes look so small and what an illusion, we always have leftovers the next day!
I always get takeout so atmosphere doesn't have a huge part to play for me.

Found a piece of plastic in my food not really sure what it is… can’t be good… makes me wonder what kind of food safety precautions actually happen back there

I'm in Vernon and will travel here to eat. SO good! Perfectly prepped tofu too, plus, the prices are great!

The concept is great and it’s a nice change from the chains that dot the city. Parking is easy enough to find.

The menu is limited but that’s a good thing because it makes choosing easier. And it’s nice if they can get proficient at a few items instead of trying to make dozens of different dishes.

The downsides are the time it takes to get your food (restaurant level so 10-15 minutes), and the density of the packaging. They use the TV style Chinese takeout boxes which look nice sure but they’re difficult to eat out of when everything is buried in rice. It was more of a digging exercise than eating. For the money it didn’t seem like the best meal - definitely filling but not in the way I expected. The food also comes out incredibly hot which I guess is good for food delivery but if you’re having it there it burns you.

Seating was easy to find, staff were nice and it seemed like a happy place to be. Some room for improvement though.

Whenever we pass through Salmon Arm, we need to stop here! The food is so good and tasty, portions are generous and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is that you need to wait a while because they're so busy:)

I've been coming to The Hungry Panda in Salmon Arm for years, and it never lets me down! The Vegan Pad Thai is my go-to—flavourful, perfectly cooked, and consistently delicious every single time. Friendly service, great portions, and a cozy local vibe make this spot a must-visit. Highly recommend!
