Everything was awesome, good variety . Delicious ribs , and desert too . Kids loved the buffet option of going back for more ! Toilets were clean as well . Allana was a lovely as well . Thank you !

Food was edible, but barely. Not a single item on the buffet was prepared well, no chicken thighs, or any meat that wasn’t prepared in a foul batter mixture. The smell of heated up fish was overbearing and all items were overcooked and mushy.

An amazing buffet all around. Alana , our server was amazing!! Extremely polite and on top of everything. Decent selection of food.. Lunch time includes sushi selections, chicken, wings, deep-fried, prawns, deep-fried, fish, and all the other Chinese favorited. They even have a decent selection of fresh fruit and a salad bar as well. Don’t forget to check out the soup,s too. . I highly recommend the ginger, beef, and the black bean chicken vegetables.
I will definitely be back when I’m in town and I highly suggest that you do the same

The food was good. Very slow on refreshing the dishes. There were no napkins no forks. We had to use chopsticks which for myself was fine but my youngest it was just not happening. I ask about forks they said they where all dirty more where coming. But they never did. You ever see a kid try to use chopsticks to eat jello.

A variety of piping hot food including seafood. Super clean. Excellent service, thank you Jin & kitchen staff! However, disgraceful (swearing), racist and bullying behaviour of the non-Asian female server toward Asian colleagues made for a tense, toxic environment, to say the least. She was volatile and everyone avoided catching her eye. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

BC Employers have an obligation to ensure a respectful and safe workplace that is free from racial discrimination - in policies, practices and overall environment. This establishment failed miserably so we won’t return. WorkSafe BC’s website is a resource worth exploring.

Great buffet selection, wonderful oriental cooks and energetic servers. I have always had a fantastic time here.
The food is standard, tastes like it should, such a clear broth for the wonton soup, a nice sushi selection and the fruit is fresh with tasty desserts and delicious green tea!
Reasonably priced, centrally located downtown, loads of parking and a nice adult drinks menu, (sake listed!)

Foor was good but limited choice. The place itself is not very attractive and looks more as a cantina. Personal are very friendly though and the price is ridiculously low for an all you can eat.

Old school Canadian style Chinese food. Heavy on the sweet and sour sauce, fried foods and generic chow mein. The buffet is good, not great but refreshed often. Definitely, locally popular place.

We just experienced the worst service we’ve ever come across. This was one of our faves in SA for Chinese. Always our go to. The family/owners staff are always very nice and helpful. We’ve enjoyed them always. The red headed white server?! Wooow. I walk up into the buffet and my 21 month old is at our table and made a short loud noise. He had not screamed or cried once during our dinner and multiple other tables were enjoying interacting with him. This server says out loud as I pass her in the buffet, “UHG take your screaming kid home!” I look at her and said “he’s not screaming and has been pretty good during dinner”. To which she replies as she’s now cashing another customer out, “THANKS TIPS”. I turn back around from where I am getting food and said, “Pardon me?” And she raises her voice and says it again. I walk back to my table and tell everyone we are leaving, and explained to our waitress (owner) what she just said to me and that she’s being extremely rude and yelling out to me in front of the entire busy front end of the restaurant. This woman COMES BACK as I’m tidying up our table to leave, and aggressively says, “I WAS NOT EVEN TALKING ABOUT YOUR KID”. I said, “I am done talking to you”, since she continues causing a scene yapping at us aggressively as everyone is watching. She then replies, “GOOD, YA GOOD!”.

My husband calls the restaurant as we leave, and the response is, “We will have to investigate, she said she wasn’t talking about your kid”. Okay so just to get this clear, my son makes a loud noise (once in our entire meal), and as I’m walking past her she says that? But she didn’t mean our kid? We were the only ones with a little toddler in the restaurant as well. And secondly, this is okay as a server to announce your annoyance to all the customers in the buffet area regardless of who’s kid it was? Then to further clarify, it’s okay to yell at a customer for saying, “my son is not screaming” ?!

This is absolutely insane. We will never return here. And we will make absolute sure everyone we know, knows how disgusting that waitress is, and how it was handled.

Terrible experience at Jade Buffet. Orange haired server talks negatively about customers in front of everyone and when confronted regarding the situation lies about it and says it’s a different table….. in our experience they don’t like kids at their establishment as the comment was negative about an infant. We won’t be back

Great Chinese Buffet in Salmon Arm!
We really enjoyed our visit to this buffet. The food was fresh, tasty, and there was a good variety of both classic Chinese dishes and some Western options. The staff were friendly and kept everything clean and well-stocked. It’s a cozy spot with a relaxed atmosphere — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Definitely worth a stop if you're in town and craving Chinese food!

It's not good. Buffet food and it's not good. Dishes not balanced well won ton inedible the texture was poor as was the flavour. Hot and sour soup poorly balanced flavour. I do not recommend.
