We were there about 2:30 in the afternoon October 31, 2025.and l ordered Pea Soup and it was so thick and disgusting and pea soup am use to is suppose to be thin not thick,no salt or any flavor with the soup.

This is a great local diner in the largest shopping center in Salmon Arm. Awesome food with lots of homemade items like burger patties. The decor is simple but you're able to people watch the mall goers, which is a great source of entertainment for all. Cute and friendly wait staff and I heard they got a handsome new cook 👀

Jane's Place is a delightful spot in Piccadilly Mall. It is a Salmon Arm breakfast favourite with fantastic staff. Even at busy times, our servers have been top notch, this restaurant is luck to have such great employees! The food is also great with decent sized portions and reasonable prices. The Eggs Benny, a couple different varieties, are stellar. Janes is a licensed establishment so you can enjoy a cold beer in the air conditioned comfort. (Maybe not with breakfast though!) Seating is up high enough that there is a nice view of the water feature and shoppers on their shopping missions.

Our first time to visit Salmon Arm and looking for a nice breakfast. Came across Jane’s restaurant. We were standing in front waiting to be seated, no one came though 2 staffs saw us, didn’t say a word just looking at us. We waited and waited and not one came. I guess because we are ASIAN, what a Big disappointment for this restaurant, does not deserve even 1star.
