The buffet. Like yesterday's leftovers. This is Canadian Chinese food you'd get in a bar. Deep fried coatings on the chicken and pork could break a tooth. And all the sugar sauces. Dessert pieces of cake smaller than a thumbnail. Not worth the price or inevitable indigestion. Used to be good.

Ordered take out tonight. From the girl who answered the phone who was so polite to the quick pick-up on a busy Friday evening and finally, the delicious and fresh food we had. Will definitely come back!

Yans has been our go to for years but this last offering was just plain bad. Ordered two combos. Combo 5 and Special. The Sweet & Sour pork was awful. Almost un chewable ! Not even sure where on a pig one would find such tough meat ?
80 % noodles, hardly any Veggies, Lemon chicken was missing sause and the 4 deep fried prawns ( if thats what they were) i swear were non distinguishable from the undercooked batter…..

We will give them another shot, as perhaps the cooks had a rough weekend:). But another bought of poor quality like this and it will be sayonara Yans !!

I have been eating at Yan's for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent & fresh. As good if not better than, many of the Chinese restaurants I have been to.

We LOVE Yans! They have the best gluten free Chinese food in town!

There was no service, the chopsticks were disposable, and there was a lot of seasoning, so I felt dry in the mouth after eating.

Presented takeout for 11 people. Ready and packed on time and it was hot. Not like we get at home: smaller portions and higher price. One dish missing the sauce, rice was packed with beef slices on top. It all got eaten though.

Was the worst chow mien ive ever had & the pork was over cooked by about 18 hours. It used to be good but last nite was the worst excuse of Chinese food ive ever had. Im white & ill bet a thousand dollars i can make better food than that crap. Ill never spend a another nickel there. Should have just gone to A&W

Just had take out, food was bland, chicken rubbery, what a waste of money. $70 is alot and couldn't even eat a third of it. Won't be ordering from there again!

Just had takeout, well over $70, wish we had read the reviews beforehand. The food was very bland, chicken rubbery, what a waste of $$$. Couldn't even eat it all, almost took it back. Won't be eating there again!

Not sure why the posted price on the web site is not the same as what they are charging?....web site states $34 for 2 person lovers special. I order & they tell me its $40.

Please update your website!!

Yan's used to be awesome but the last two times (both on Mondays) the food has been subpar. Nowhere near worth the price. Stick to the soup and you're ok but I cannot recommend anything else at this point.

Very average Chinese food—pretty bland really. Part of our meal package for our tour. Dishes brought out to our table without any explanation. Restaurant was dirty, with used plates left on tables and food on the floor. Disappointing experience. The smorgasbord experience was even worse. Dried out food, empty dishes not refilled. Overall the food was not good.
