Yan's used to be awesome but the last two times (both on Mondays) the food has been subpar. Nowhere near worth the price. Stick to the soup and you're ok but I cannot recommend anything else at this point.
Very average Chinese food—pretty bland really. Part of our meal package for our tour. Dishes brought out to our table without any explanation. Restaurant was dirty, with used plates left on tables and food on the floor. Disappointing experience. The smorgasbord experience was even worse. Dried out food, empty dishes not refilled. Overall the food was not good.
We drive 70 miles to have supper there. Good food is had to find
I did take out . Good food
Decent size portions but still expensive for what you get.
Food was okay. Not great and not awful. Not flavourful enough to warrant a repeat visit. The young lady who answered the phone was delightful and helpful.
We ordered the following: -sweet and sour pork -ginger beef -chicken fried rice -2 spring rolls With suggested tip it was over $70 for three dishes and two spring rolls for take out. They did not provide any plum sauce for the springs roll or any soy sauce like all Chinese restaurants usually do. Sweet and sour pork: Sauce was good, pork included many gristle pieces that weren’t palatable. Rice was okay, nothing to write home about, it’s no Royal Wok, that’s for sure. Ginger beef was what I was looking forward to the most, however they don’t use ginger in it anymore, it is now onion and vinegar beef. Seriously though, back in the day it had julienned carrots and ginger along with some onion and garlic and a few green peppers. It’s entirely different and it’s awful, without even a hint of ginger. Huge disappointment. Royal Wok will have all my business for Chinese cravings from now on, I’ll just make sure I don’t crave it on days they aren’t open anymore because Yans just doesn’t hit the same as it used to. 🥺
Always good. We get the dinner for two.

Average tasting food, not great but not terrible.
Charged me $2 for 2 wooden forks!
That is rather tasteless (pardon the pun)

The second whitest is placed in salmon arm for Chinese food. The portions were very small prices were average but the food itself was very disappointing

Enjoyed a nice lunch with a large group. Everyone liked their choices. Manager/owner was very charming. Everything went smoothly even though they were short staffed.

First of all, the food is absolutely delicious. On top of that, the excellent service from the staff leaves nothing more to be said
