Very good cafe
We came 2 days in a row. After buying 2 Spanakopita for lunch the first day, we had to come back! They are amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Really nice coffee! If you've read my other reviews you might think I'm never happy with how anyone brews my coffee. But that's not true. And here's the proof. Many thanks to the lady who pulled the shot that went into my 8oz black americano. Much appreciated

perfect summer treat
There aren’t a lot of light / healthy options on Saturna and this little joint saved my trip. They offer a variety of healthy smoothies (the avocado spinach was yummy), a lot of interesting tea and coffee beverages and a vegan flatbread with sun dried tomatoes and arugula that was delicious! They also have salads and sandwiches and ice cream….. a complete one stop shop for a quick bite. There is a small, cute patio out front. The owner Ruth is warm and welcoming. A very sweet place overall!

Great food, great service and an amazing view. Simply a must on a visit to Saturna. We could have stayed there all evening
So happy to find this cafe within walking distance of the Arbutus Cafe and opened early enough for Breakfast and Lunch. The pub beside it only opens at 3 pm until late. Great healthy options for food and smoothies. But also carry the indulgences like chips and ice cream. Stop by early if you plan on grabbing a bite before leaving for the ferry since it will get busy. They also carry some basic provisions that you might need while you are camping like oil, hot chocolate and drinks. Anything more than that, you should go to the grocery store.

Restaurantji Recommends
Great place, I picked Saturna Island because it is the least populated in the Gulf islands and because it has the Lighthouse Pub with a fantastic view and great food and service. The bartender was excellent and my server the first night was excellent. I also stayed at their campground which had a cabin with another fantastic view of the harbor … I’ll be back soon. Marty
We stopped for lunch on our sailing trip around the Gulf Islands!and were greeted by very friendly owners and an amazing g view! The food was fantastic! Must try the yam fries! Would highly recommend this stop for lunch or dinner! Check the hours before you go!
Great ice cream and super nice staff. Thank you Fred and Ruth.
We visit Fred & Ruth regularly. Their new roasted coffee is great! They are also located conveniently at the Ferry Terminal. A must visit when you come to Saturna Island. On our recent visit to Saturna, we tried their Mediterranean Pizza (House). It was absolutely fantastic! Make sure you try this when you get to Saturna Island!
What a great little cafe. It's conveniently located right by the ferry making it the perfect place to grab something while you wait. They have some nutritious options as well as the usual favourites including ice cream.Ruth and Fred were very friendly. We rented kayaks from them for a couples hours and Fred was helpful and patient getting us set up. Thank you!!
