I only drop my rating from 5 to 3 due to how tough the ribs were. Definitely some short cuts taken there.
No where near fall off bone, more like tear off bone.

Weird menu items. For a smoke house you can't get a beef brisket meal. No mashed potatoes.

Small portions with lots of fat on the meat.

Service is really slow.

For the price, we won't be back.

I understand that they were busy, but it's the only pub around on a Friday night and I feel they should be prepared. It took an hour and a half to get some dip on a small dish (not baked just poured) and a bucket of broken chips.
The 2 tables beside us, after trying to get their food, eventually gave up and left.

The outdoor seating was dull, despite it being lively inside, no music or anything outside. Just cramped tables and forgotten orders.
The "salt and pepper" wings were doused in lime/lemon and super sour and it was not stated that was on the menu.

It's crazy how long everyone outside had to wait for very simple orders. Like I am talking 2 dishes (others).

We talked to anouther couple who had been there previously and had no issues, so maybe it was a one off. We tried googling other options to eat while we waiting. but nothing around.

Took over an hour to get our food, and with the place having no air conditioning and nearly a gazillion flies, we opted to take our food and go. The food was impressive in the end, so if they allow phone orders to be picked up, that's how I'd do it next time. The server was friendly and tried her best to ammomidate the slow kitchen and long order times.

A nice place for local delicious food and plenty of music! Check out the pronghorn and muskox. Right across from the entrance to the Shuswap provincial park.

At 7pm on a Monday… waited 10 minutes for a menu then an hour for our food. The burger wasn’t cooked in the middle- glad we decided to share and cut it in half first. They took it off our bill but overall the night was really disappointing.
