I enjoyed the fish and home-style fries. My brother had the BBQ grilled chicken sandwich and curly fries. We had a nice discussion with the sweet lady that runs the place about her experience during the recent evacuation of Slocan due to forest fires. She is good people.

Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent.
The owner is a happy, helpful small business owner. My riding buddy and I arrived 30minutes before opening time on Saturday July 6, and she made us feel right at home. We had our coffee and ordered breakfast, which was really great. Before long, while sitting outside, we could smell our meals being cooked. Two other guys arrived and they also were met with open arms. We had time to hear about her three grown kids and she was a proud mom. If I lived in Slocan, I would like...
everyone seemed to be in the nearby bistro which serves drinks and some baked good... the Harold Cafe seemed closed, but luckily someone was sitting outside. a really friendly lady served us a nice Canadian breakfast like we looked for (eggs, bacon, toast,hush brown etc.) in a very affordable price. love this place. encourage you to support it!
