We really enjoyed grabbing food here on a camping trip for a change of pace. We got fish and chips, a burger, and chicken strips. The food came out fast and was really tasty! The ambience is great - not amazing as you are sitting in a parking lot, but given that it is a gorgeous view with picnic tables and lots to see. There are some games for the kids while you wait.

Only place open while we waited for the ferry. Food was good. Staff was very friendly. Offered games and chalk for our little kids. Right by the pier. Also fishermen coming in offered us fresh salmon. Should have brought cash and a cooler. Was very tempting to buy.

I stopped by Burger Barn and had fish and chips before catching ferry back to Port McNeil. The fish and chips were the best I've ever had!! The homemade tartar sauce was was life changing! I can tell the owners here value quality and love what they do. The gravy, batter, and sauces are all home made by Michelle's husband. Michelle made my trip here in Pointula so memorable. Because my ferry is delayed and I was tempted to buy a milkshake earlier, she drove over to the ferry terminal and hand delivered a milkshake because she felt bad for my long wait. Unbelievable ? My heart is full and I can guarantee you visiting Burger Barn is a stop you won't regret making!! I absolutely adore small towns and people like Michelle is the reason why

Awesome Food. Awesome Staff. I ate here twice while I was visiting.The first time I had the two-piece halibut with fries. Huge Portions. Nice sized Fried Halibut. Absolutely fresh and delicious. I recommend this one.My second visit I got the cod. Two pieces with onion rings. Again very nice portion sizes. A very big serving of onion rings. And the cod fish had a very fresh and delicious flavor.Next time I might try a burger because everybody is talking about them. Will definitely be back for more.
Parking: Huge parking lot at this Marina.
Wheelchair accessibility: I am not in a wheelchair but I can say for sure these folks would be glad to step out of the booth and take an order for the disabled person.
