I've only tried the fries, but they were super! They let me order even though they were closing, wonderful people! I'll visit again for a burger if I ever find myself in sointula!

We went here for the first time on Thursday, August 31 for 6 PM.There were about eight people in front of us in line to order, and a good eight people on the other side, waiting for their orders as well as the staff taking phone in orders (it would seem the phone in orders had priority).It did take two hours, we got to order after about an hour and then an hour wait if we hadn’t known it was going to take this long we would not have stayed.two people had halibut and chips and cod and chips. The fish was great but the chips were terrible.Another person had a beef burger which did not taste good and another person had a cod she burger which they said was good again all the fries were over cooked and greasy Coleslaw was good. I would recommend that over fries.It was our first time on the island, and we went to your based on the great reviews, but sadly I cannot give a great reviewVegetarian options: Vegan burger

Very good and fast. Nice picnic tables by the marina with good views. We all enjoyed our burgers which were both beef or fish. The battered cod was quite crunchy and very flavourful. The fries were good.Service pleasant.

Good selection including very good homemade veggie burgers. Nice to have the option of fries, onion rings or coleslaw as an included side. Nice fully enclosed shack on the premises with two 4 person tables and counter seating overlooking the harbour.

For a literal barn in a parking lot, I was IMPRESSED. Quality ingredients, delicious, served with a smile. What more could you ask for?Well, they'll throw in a spectacular view to top it off.The burger looked like it should have been in a commercial, and tasted just as good. Perfect sear, thick slices of bacon, caramelized onions, and crisp lettuce. For the fish and chips, the cod was fresh and delicious in a light, crisp batter, cooked perfectly golden. Even the onion rings were perfect.Thanks Burger Barn! Great job!
Good burgers, great fries and onion rings. The food was tasty; especially the halibut burgers, but really spendy. The bacon cheeseburger was pretty tiny comparatively, so again - tasty, but not cheap.

The fact they are able to pump out the selection of food they do in their small "barn" is impressive. Good eats, really good service from the young staff, well worth checking out if you visit Sointula!

Unbelievable how good their food is, what a gem. Lots of seating outside and a covered room with tables in case the sun is not shining. The locals eat here, coming straight off their fishing boats and we could have eaten there every night. Outstanding!
