A true gem of the island!
This place is the heart of the community, you always feel welcome here. The salads are fresh and delicious, every sandwich is made to perfection, and the soups to dream for. The drinks are always spot-on, and the staff couldn’t be more kind or attentive. There’s a warm, friendly vibe that makes it feel like the island’s gathering spot , the epicenter of it all. Don’t miss it!

Super friendly service. The lavender fog was the best London Fog I have ever had! The fish tacos were awesome. Great island ambiance.

Recently moved to Alert Bay with my retired husband. We love hopping a ferry (free Mon.-Thurs. for BC Seniors). A big bowl of thier delectable cheese and broccoli soup on a cloudy day is just what the soul needs.
Friendly staff and hot creamy cappuccino and a muffin rounds it off. A perfect small island day vacation.

Great spot to stop for a coffee or something to eat! The staff here are so kind hearted and friendly, there is a warm and welcoming energy the second you walk in. Makes being somewhere new feel so much more comfortable!! I had a soup and my boyfriend had their BLT for lunch, everything was great. Also had an iced chai latte and it didn’t disappoint!! You won’t regret stopping here if you’re visiting and I’m sure it’s just as much of a treat for locals. ☺️

This café is super homey. If you want somewhere to go and feel like a local, this is it. You will also probably meet a lot of the locals here. Their breakfast and lunch menu is all inclusive and delicious. Vegan, vegetarian, and other dietary needs friendly. Lastly, the coffee is spot on.

Vegetarian options: Vegan options are available without loss of flavor!

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available at the patio entering through the dining area. Totally wheelchair accessible.

We stayed on the island at a fishing lodge and wandered into town one day, stumbled across this lovely cafe and are we glad we did!! My husband had the fish tacos, he and I both agreed they were a 10/10. I had a Greek vege wrap and it also was 10/10. But the potato salad… 1000/10. Better than your mom or grandmas. Great service, coffee was excellent, staff was jovial and welcoming. Stop by if you are in the area.
