I guess we should have known by the sketchy outside that it was going to be a little bit on the rustic side. But hey it's a bar! LOL
The wings were great, the corona was coolish. The only off-putting thing was whatever was laying eggs on the piece of brown lime they had stuck in my bottle 🤦🏼‍♀️
I think our poor waitress was running everything 🙈 and we had to wait for her to come back from the motel to ring us out.
But the wings were great 😅

Came here for dinner both yesterday and today while we’re staying in town. Stellar view, great prices, great pub food. Sharie and Ocean were our two servers and both were great! Sharie gets extra points for both cooking and serving, and nailing both.

Their website offers a very full menu but in fact it’s a 1 sheet of paper with 4 items which was misleading and disappointing. Food was just awful. In this review they give a gallery of dishes I would recommend. Only 3 items are actually on the menu. 🙄

The ambiance was consistent with what one would expect from a small town pub. With only one staff member on duty and four tables of customers upon our arrival, we anticipated that the service might be somewhat compromised.

Our server made a concerted effort to keep our coffees replenished, although there were occasional lapses, which were understandable given the circumstances. She was friendly and helpful in addressing our queries about the menu and subsequent follow-up.

There was a noticeable delay in the delivery of our meal, but we were not in a hurry. Our server explained that the cook had failed to show up, and the owner had taken on the cooking responsibilities.

This information elicited a more sympathetic response from us regarding the wait.

Once we received our meal, we found that everything tasted as it should, with good flavor profiles.

The omelette, while not aesthetically pleasing, was a commendable effort in terms of folding the eggs. It was a clear attempt to create a made-from-scratch dish, rather than relying on pre-frozen omelettes, which some establishments often use.

Personally, I prefer a genuine omelette, even if it lacks visual appeal. Therefore, I applaud the owner's effort and encourage them to continue this practice.

The portion sizes were generally satisfactory, except for a notable discrepancy in the serving of pancakes to another customer (as seen in the accompanying photograph).

The last pancake was significantly smaller than the others and had been placed at the bottom of the stack, which was disappointing, especially considering that it was the owner who had served it. This inconsistency accounted for the 4.5-star rating.

Overall, I would definitely return to this establishment.

First time going won’t go back. Only one waitress that’s outfit was insanely inappropriate!!! Not classy at all I don’t want to see your business when I’m ordering. She was rude we ordered the beef dip special she said that was the yesterday special and did not honour the price. Food not worth the money for the smal portion u get. Overall not a good experience. Our bill was $66 for 1 beer, 1 ice tea. And 2 beef dips. Ridiculous !!
The other waitresses wasn’t any better she looked like she went to a party under a bridge and was still going strong.
The only nice was the view .

This is a great little pub. The service was excellent, the food was decent and there is a fantastic karaoke setup. The ample parking adjacent to the Trans-Canada highway makes this a great rest stop for travelers. There is also a well stocked convenience store right next door and a weed store nearby. With the gas station just a few meters away, this is a great stop for the weary traveler or a great destination for a local road trip.

Parking: Parking is adjacent to the TCH. Easy in and easy out, especially if you are heading west.

We had a reservation as there was 13 of us. When we got to the pub our reservation was no where to be seen so we moved our own tables around which is OK. The waitress didn't apologize for their mix up which caught me off guard. The waitress didn't seem to want to be there. She wasn't personable at all. The food came out bit by bit. It took over half an hour for everyone to FINALLY get their food. Again no explanation or apology from the waitress. We were waiting for our bills so finally had to track down our waitress to pay. Again...nothing like, sorry for the delay in the food, hope to see you again, hope you enjoyed yourselves. Very poor attitude on the waitress. Food was good when we finally got it but I wouldn't go back to this pub anytime soon
