We’ve always loved this restaurant and usually have great experiences, but tonight was very disappointing. After waiting almost an hour, our order was mistakenly given to another table. I’m 8 months pregnant, and the long wait was overwhelming — especially because this was also our wedding anniversary dinner.
By the time the food finally arrived, I had already lost my appetite, so we just asked to have it packed. The staff did offer the meal for free, which we appreciate, but the situation still left us upset and feeling like a special night was ruined.

We hired the catering side Butter & Salt for a private function. I can’t say enough good things about happy I am with their communication, planning and execution. The food was exceptional and the staff (Hanna and Matt) made the evening special. Highly recommend.

Have come here many times for dinner for professionals. Always give a limited number of starters and everyone is left hungry. Wouldn’t recommend for sponsored dinner here. At the moment I’m in a group sponsored dinner and there are 7 people in our table and only 2 prawns and one tiny bread for each professional !!! Awful 😡

Have been to Tap a handful of times for work events. The food is always delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff are top tier, from the chef to the servers - everyone is so kind and provides immaculate service. Looking forward to coming back to dine with friends!

We've known about Tap for some time and finally got around to giving it a try. Tucked away in a residential area but still easy to find, Tap didn't disappoint. The service start to finish, vibe and food was excellent! The menu although relatively small by design has offerings for most everyone's tastes. Excellent food presentation, wine selection, dessert menu and nice after dinner drinks & coffee. We were seated on the patio - which has heaters for added comfort - and I could see a future evening visit to simply enjoy a glass of wine and some appetizers. Highly recommend a visit and would suggest making a reservation well in advance.

Good food well prepared and presented. Prices are fair. Especially the Tuesday nite dinners. All in all, a welcome addition to the south Surrey dinner scene. A welcome addition to the south Surrey restaurant choices. Food on their Saturday Take and Bake is fabulous. Just like eating inside the Tap Restaurant. Except for when I plate the food. Not as artistic as the cooks do for their in restaurant customers.
