The Packing House

We don't get up that way often, we love to stop at The Packing House. The food is amazing! The staff is so lovely; shout out to sweet Grace! Today we found out that Ernest Hemmingway's son, Jack, fished the Thompson River with his friend, Leo Tolstoy's grandson. How cool is that! Did I mention the food is amazing?

Ordered a bunch of eggs sunny side up and they came out perfect. Toast was fresh and homemade. It’s like eating at grandma’s house. Will be back when passing through town. Prices were reasonable too

Great spot for lunch we had the roast beef and roasted turkey sandwiches with the soup and it was delicious. The servers were lovely. Highly recommend

Hidden gem out in the middle of nowhere. I come here every year and service gets better every year! Great to see old school places like this thrive with great people and food!

Food was very very good. Restaurant was quaint and interesting but the service was sooooo slow. If you have a couple of hours and aren’t really hungry, it’s worth it.

We walked right in, sat on the sail covered patio and the service was prompt and friendly. Everything was freshly prepared...egg salad sandwich, ham and grilled cheese sandwich, beef dip sandwich, grilled chicken dinner, turkey sandwich-all delicious. Bread was terrific

The Bighorn Beef Dip was 10/10. Very friendly staff, nice outdoor seeting, and a wide variety of items on the menu.
