Awesome Experience and vibes. Visited in the Winter and had a Decaf Latte which was delicious. Very Beautiful place and the Spences Bridge viewpoint is very close by (walkable distance)

One of our most fondest memories of our road trip down highway 1 was stopping at The Packing House for dinner. On this particular day, we were driving from Kamloops to Vancouver and we decided to take the scenic route. We opened Google Maps and asked it for a restaurant along the route to stop at, and The Packing House was the one we chose at random, and we’re so glad that we did. Everything about this place is perfect: The backdrop, the vibe, the unique coziness of the place, the warmth of the staff, the absolutely delicious food, it was just perfect all around. We shared the most amazing hamburger soup (which I had never had before) along with their unreal garlic toasts. We also shared a ham and cheese toastie and a pasta carbonara with chicken. All of the food was amazing. To make the experience even more of a joy, one of the regulars had her dog at the restaurant along with another doggy that she was babysitting. They were so happy to see us and they made my day. The experience here will stay with us for a long time. We really hope to make it back again one day. Thank you all so much for this wonderful experience

Pretty good meal just super slow with only one other table at the time. I waited 30 mins for a to-go omelette. It was very tasty though!!!

If you want a delicious sandwich, great service in a vintage location pull off the road as you are passing thru Spence’s Bridge.

After a long MC ride on the bike, was looking for a nice stop to kick back and contemplate. Right beside the Baits Motel(note the spelling) for a landmark reference. Had their BLT on fresh baked Multigrain bread which hit the spot.
Don't be in a rush though as it takes longer to craft the perfect sandwich. ...and who knows, you might meet some cool new friends along the way. This place reminds me... it's the journey, not the destination that counts. Enjoy!

The app wont let me rank them less than 1 star.... if you're driving through just keep driving.
Slow service, bland food and a gross bathroom.

We don't get up that way often, we love to stop at The Packing House. The food is amazing! The staff is so lovely; shout out to sweet Grace! Today we found out that Ernest Hemmingway's son, Jack, fished the Thompson River with his friend, Leo Tolstoy's grandson. How cool is that! Did I mention the food is amazing?

Ordered a bunch of eggs sunny side up and they came out perfect. Toast was fresh and homemade. It’s like eating at grandma’s house. Will be back when passing through town. Prices were reasonable too
