This was one of the most disgusting food experiences I’ve ever had. I purchased a burger from this A&W and after taking a bite, I discovered visible mold/fungus on the bun. This is not a small mistake — it’s a serious health hazard.

How does moldy bread even make it to a customer? This shows extreme negligence in food storage, freshness checks, and overall hygiene. I immediately lost my appetite and was honestly worried about getting sick.

I will never eat at this location again. Management needs to take food safety seriously before someone ends up in the hospital.

The grumpy girl who’s worked there for a LONGGG time could not be any grumpier… she will take your order like she’s got more important things to do and when she pkgs it up she practically drops in in front of you, we’ve seen her do this to pretty much every person while we were there. The rest of the staff seem ok but there’s the drive thru, and wait at the corner for your order issue …..

My favorite server, Manjeed, gives the best customer service. He has great smile, pleasant attitude, and polite manner. I am impressed by the management leadership at this Squamish A&W restaurant.

No gloves, fries piled up and chilling in the corner, employees are sitting on the cashier table and having fun, overall very “authentic” vibes😂😂😂
I still ate a handmade bare-hand burger though. Very Delicious haha

The service has gone way downhill in recent years.

Today I asked for no ketchup and extra mayo on my burger. They charged extra for the extra mayo despite not getting ketchup. It's not about the 25 cents it's about the principal of the situation. Also the burger patties were dry.

First off, I love a and w. Go there all the time.

Today i saw them holding my burger with their naked hand touching the cheese. Also putting onions on the burger by hand, no glove.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this A&W visit was so revolting that I honestly feel obligated to warn people.

The food was already mediocre — bland, lukewarm, and definitely not worth the price. But what really pushed me over the edge was my drink. I took a sip and noticed something floating… only to find a long clump of HAIR and some weird dried plastic-looking thing sitting at the bottom. I don’t even want to think about how that got in there.

Absolutely unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of hygiene and attention. I was disgusted, disappointed, and honestly shocked that a place serving food to the public could let something this nasty happen.

Never returning, and I hope management seriously re-evaluates their cleanliness standards because this was beyond gross!

I usually love having a burger from A&W — it’s kinda my go-to and it always used to taste really good before. But this time when I tried it, it honestly wasn’t the same. The burger had this weird taste to it, and it just didn’t feel fresh like it normally does. Kinda disappointing, especially since A&W burgers are usually my favourite.
