Backcountry Brewing offers a wide selection of excellent take-away beers and friendly staff in Squamish, BC. The brewery has been around for years and for good reason, known for its excellent craft beers with a smooth taste. There is plenty of parking, lots of seating inside where you can see the vats and machinery, and a nice outdoor covered patio. They serve solid food options, including pretty good pizza cooked fast with a thin base. The Czech Pilsner stood out as a favorite, the hazies are solid, and there are some interesting sours. The staff are very welcoming, patient, and helpful. It is definitely worth checking out after a long day of hiking and is considered the best beer in Squamish.
