Very boring place, nothing remarkable, expensive for small portions and even worse presentation. The pancakes were tasteless, they served it with literally 2 grapes on my plate. The staff were polite but it’s not the type of place that people seemed happy to work for. Anyway I would definitely avoid and have breakfast in another place.Vegetarian options: Almost none, they offer a bunch of sides that you could possible mix and match to form one vegetarian option but the portions are a joke.

Stopped in here after driving for a long time and was so hungry... atmosphere very plain and bleak. However the food was very good and fresh....coffee was great ..... the serive was really good, friedly staff. The only thing I would say I wasn't happy about was the one bathroom for the whole restaurant... was not that clean. All and all I would definitely come back here. It is a bit pricey too but portions are good.

We went to this place for breakfast on our way to Whistler. Pricey little place. The quality of food especially potato chips (Hash Browns, )seems like they were previously frozen. They were awfully hard to eat very dry. The coffee cups were slim and had to keep asking for coffee over and over. Coffee was not fresh it was poured in a thermos which he was serving from. Definitely will never go back.

Exactly what I was looking for. Diner atmosphere, with home cooked vine, super tasty and nice breakfast portions. We sat at the window and loved the experience. Good food for good value.

Very disappointing!Service was very unfriendly and almost seemed irritated when asking for things like more coffee or ketchup!Food took over an hour and was cold and not great quality at all.We will not be back.

We were hopeful of a nice family breakfast with friends but instead we waited 1 hour food and it wasn’t even that busy . The staff and server were very unfriendly. At no point did they attempt to ensure we were well taken care of while we waited our food. After waiting 1 hour for food they severed all the children dead last ( which was crazy ) any restaurant knows you make it a priority to take care of the kids priority one ( not this place ).After 1 hour the server asked if we wanted more coffee and re-filled 1 out of the 4 coffees because she was going to get more ( which was fine ) however she never came back so 20 min later we managed to get her attention again to see about the other 3 coffees. She acknowledged and just brought the coffee jug and said here and left it on the table for us to pour.Food was not great and these rosemary potatoes were just bad. Also so much wasteful stuff that is completely unnecessary ( butter, creamers and sugar, packets,)This place did not tick one box. We will not be back.Waste of time and money. If you want to stay there n business I suggest the following :A ) be friendly and appreciative to your customersB) prioritize kids food first alwaysC) if you’re busy make sure you keep The customers filled up with drinks.D) better foodE)

We went for a morning breakfast & we were amazed by the service we got, the waitress was very nice & got us a coffee very quick, then she took our order & had it delivered within minutes, the portion of the food was good, we actually shared one breakfast & it was quite filling. Good breakfast with a Mountain View right in downtown.Parking: Plenty of parking or the streetsKid-friendliness: It’s a kids friendly restaurant

I enjoyed breakfast here with my two children and my mom before riding the North Pole Express. The food was delicious, decent pricing, great sized portions and very friendly service. My son is 6 and asked for a cheeseburger at 10am, before I could let him know it was only a breakfast menu right now our gracious server got down on his level and patiently waited for my little guy to order what he wanted (which included particular adjustments beyond their standard burger-those with littles will know what I mean ;)) and the server said "for the young man we will make it work". My mom and I were both blown away by his kindness and willingness to please. I didn't catch his name, but if he reads this: "Thank you for being so amazing with my son and his requests!! You're awesome!"My daughter ordered the pancake stack with apples and cinnamon and it looked amazing! It was made in a griddle that baked the apples right into it! I have never seen anything like it. If I didn't have a gluten allergy, I would have ordered it!I don't often go to Squamish, but when I do, I will make sure I visit Chef Big D's every time.Dietary restrictions: I ordered eggs benny without the English muffin due to a gluten allergy and I was pleased they were able to sub gf bread.Parking: We went on a Sunday morning (10ish) and had zero problem finding ample free street parking right outside the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: A great menu with a lot of options that most kiddos enjoy and the staff are more than happy to ensure the littles get what they'd like.
