Super amazing food here

No MSG No Garlic Foodie

I searched for coffee and found the term 'vegan donuts' in the reviews for this place. There was a long line up and several people in front of us purchased a mixed box of donuts to go. Their donuts, at least the Apple Pie Berliner were addictive, the sourdough very spongy, and not that sweet. I had the Rhubarb Bob which was nice and chewy as well, but my tummy didn't want to keep it after careful consideration. On our way back from Whistler, we stopped by and again, and I tried the creme caramel sans the sugary top and custard cream. Actually, I really just wanted deep fried dough without any topping or sugar (cause I'm not supposed to eat sugar). I wasn't able to select any vegan donuts because they have toppings that I can't eat. Drink wise, they don't offer soy milk, and I don't enjoy oat milk and am lactose intolerant. Fox & Oak makes for a reasonable reward if we wanted to have a 45-minute scenic drive out of Vancouver with a coffee stop.

Would love to have good things to say about this place but after my most recent visit I don’t think I can. Came in at 5:53 on Friday November 21 and noticed the times on the door said 6. Before ordering I asked the barista if they were closed already and she told us they were open for 5 more minutes, so we placed our order. She proceeded to give us lukewarm steamed milk and handed off our drinks without a word. We both said thank you and she just walked away quickly, visibly annoyed.

We asked if they were still open, were told yes, then placed our orders kindly. We even tipped 20% on some 8$ drinks that definitely didn’t deserve it. I believe the service we received was pretty unacceptable especially considering it’s a Friday night and expectedly busy everywhere. The service felt hostile to say the very least.

We would have totally understood if they had closed all the equipment already, and would’ve taken our business elsewhere. But because we weren’t told that we placed our orders and felt like we wasted our money.

Up early this morning after reviewing the menu to bring someone a special treat there was no vegan donuts ready at all. This was half an hour at least after their opening. They also had no coffee this morning other than drip coffee they offered me to have a latte before the water was turned off and then said oh no sorry too late, not acknowledging that it was inconvenient. Why even open at seven if you have nothing to offer, they had their basic donuts ready, but that was not what we were looking for.

Visited this cafe on my way back from Whistler around 11am today. I had read many good reviews, so expectations were fairly high, but the experience was a bit disappointing. The mango passion fruit donut was quite sweet and not very fresh, the space felt small and noisy, and the staff didn't seem particularly welcoming. That said, the pour over was decent.

Enjoyable spot to sip on delicious green tea and an earl grey donut. Friendly service and a great view! Will return next time on the way to Whistler!

Amazing plant-based options! We especially loved the crème brûlée doughnut and the chocolate cookie which is also gf. We really loved our visit today served by Morgan, she was so friendly and welcoming.

Please keep up the delicious rotation of jam or custard filled plant-based doughnuts.

Disappointed in this place, expected a decent coffee but my americano was not strong by any means. So watered down with no flavor. No creme on top either which i was expecting based on the photos.

I visited this cafe because I heard it’s really popular these days, and I could see why! The interior, atmosphere, and beautifully made donuts were all amazing. We got our donuts to go, and the bread itself was so tasty. They even sell donuts for dogs. Our pup absolutely loved it! I’d definitely come back if I visit the Squamish area again.🍩

Love the doughnuts. I'm not the fan of vanilla but the vanilla bourbon raisin fritter was amazing. I chose the mango passionfruit. It's also very good.

On the corner of main, quaint little cafe. Tried a gluten free cardamon donut and regretted not getting a real donut. Had a matcha too which was pretty good. Ended up getting a real vanilla bourbon raisin fritter and that hit the spot.

A smile & a response to thank you has never killed anyone.

Very very oblivious & privileged service. The skin care regime was flawless though
