Brew pub review: DONT GO
Today im going to be charged $25 for $5 worth of chips from save on foods. 2 layers is not the way to describe this monstrosity. Hardly any sour cream, hardly any toppings. No more brussel sprouts on the menu, no more pizza on the menu, and the nachos should not be on the menu.

BE AWARE! They will charge you automatically 18% for tips if you are in a group without telling you wich is absolutly unacceptable and if you pay with the card the machine will also ask you for tips.. so if you don't pay attention to you're bill you can end up paying close to 40% in tips.

We were all Squamish residents at our table some of us for over 15 years and we will never go back there again.

We hosted our wedding celebration in the firebread room. Kyley was an amazing event coordinator, everything was perfect! All of our guests loved the foods, drinks, atmosphere, and staff.

Restaurant is expensive and very mediocre.

Chicken on burger was very tough and dry, just
plain mayo used as the “dip” with sweet potato fries. Burger was small and uneventful.

Friendly service though.

Unfortunately will not be back.

Howe is great, good variety of beer/ poutine. But, only one type of cider.

We had dinner at Howe Sound Brewing and the service was great, the beer was… beer, and the food was abysmal. We both had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and wow it was disappointing: the chicken tasted like a microwaved slab of processed chicken-type product, with a lukewarm bun, and all the spicy flavour of mayonnaise. A McChicken is gourmet compared to this abomination. Fries were good, but my side Caesar salad was basically romaine with Kraft dressing.
Almost $70 for two chicken blandwiches, one pop and one beer? Ouch. Won’t be back.

The inn is in a great location. However, certain bookings are deceptive. I was there for a business trip and booked through zaptravel.com. I paid $212 total for a one night stay; and thought I was getting decent value for the room. When I got there, they wanted $100 for a security deposit; which I thought is standard practice. Upon check out however, the front desk gave me a receipt for another $160 charge. The woman at the desk said it's not related to the $100 deposit and that it's possible that zaptravel.com books through Expedia. She even said I should only book through Booking.com or Expedia in the future. Needless to say, I found the whole interaction a bit suspect.

First time visit.

Went here for my wife’s birthday dinner and was thoroughly disappointed, I ordered a soup with sandwich and the soup was disgusting. I couldn't eat more than one taste of the soup, the waiter even acknowledged the soup wasn't touched and never offered to remove it from the bill.

Halfway through my meal I asked for a refill on my drink, the waiter forgot about my refill and i had to ask him again after my meal was almost finished, I had about 2 sips and he charged me for it.

My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and said it was completely bland and had about 2 bites and didn’t finish it.

The only positive was the waiter was great with my kid and I respect that he admitted he forgot about my drink.

Will not return, not happy with the bill and lack of flavour.

Spent one night at the Howe Sound Inn, and the location is excellent. The rooms are nice but somewhat dated. The staff at the main reception were a bit distant and not very welcoming. The breakfast offerings were limited to small items like danishes, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, and small cereals. It would be nice to see more substantial options, such as bagels or muffins. Additionally, serving breakfast in the hallway felt intrusive to the other guests; the restaurant or conference room setting would be better.

We dined at the restaurant for dinner, where our server was excellent, but the food itself was unremarkable and lacked flavor.

Overall, our stay was decent, but I'm uncertain if I would choose this location again in the future.

Rooms: Queen Bed - Day Bed View. Decent rooms however a little dated. The view of the mountain was great.

Nearby activities: Lots of walkable locations down the street. A short drive to the Sea to Sky Gondola.

Food and drinks: Restaurant offers a variety of meals and beer. Overall we found the food a lacked flavour.

After Furry Creek Golf & Country Club cancelled our wedding 37 days prior to the event, Kyley, the Events Manager, and the entire team at Howe Sound Inn & Brewing swiftly came together and put on the BEST wedding reception we could have ever imagined! Kyley went above and beyond to ensure the event was flawlessly executed and made the entire planning experience stress free. From the moment I met her, I immediately knew we were in very capable and highly detail focused hands.

For a 90 person wedding, Kyley made sure to have plenty of staff available for food and beverage service which made for an effective, efficient, and comfortable dinning experience. Kyley and her team created custom cocktails and special entrees that were specific to certain guest dietary restrictions. From the buffet, to the desserts, to the late night pizza snack, and endless cocktail and tap beer options, our guests enjoyed it all! We cannot thank Kyley enough and highly recommend Howe Sound Inn & Brewing for those looking to host a private event or wedding reception in beautiful Squamish!!

Kyley, you literally saved our day and we are forever grateful for your endless kindness and compassion.

I've stayed at the hotel multiple times as well as gone to the Brewery/Restaurant as well several times (both as while a guest at the hotel as well as when I was a guest elsewhere and wanted to land at a place I knew had good food). So the hotel, I would give a 4 to 4.5 stars. It's on the smaller side and the rooms are a little dated. Clean, front desk staff has always been nice and courteous. Great location, although the parking situation in Squamish can be odd at times (there are some areas you can't park your car overnight so you have to find parking in places that does allow it). As far as the Brewery, they have a great selection of beers on tap, options to buy beer to take with you as well as great food. They have a pretty good happy hour as well (both early and late). Daily specials as well if I remember right. Also a number of TV's if you want to watch the sports ball (Yay Team!).

Rooms: Good sized, a little dated,

Food and drinks: Great food. Great beer. Great happy hour.

Howe sound brewing is our standard post hike pit stop that I've been going to for years. Food is good service has been good until yesterday. A waiter yelled at the ladies next to us because they politely asked for water. I have never seen such uncalled behavior and will not let my children see that behavior normalized.
