Stopped in at Joe Pesto’s Wood Fired Pizza while passing through town and had a mixed experience.

The girl who seated me put me in a booth for four, then said she might move me if a larger party came in — which didn’t make much sense since the table she wanted to move me to seats eight and has tall chairs. 🤔 Not the most comfortable or logical approach to seating.

The Buffalo pizza was delicious 🍕🔥 and the apple cider on draft was excellent 🍎🍺, but unfortunately the inside experience left a lot to be desired. The atmosphere is dim, with several burned-out overhead lights 💡, the decor is dusty, and the parmesan cheese shaker was clearly neglected — only 1/8 full, with cheese clinging to the sides. Disgusting.
This place may work better as a takeout spot, because the in-house service felt unprofessional and disorganized. While the food itself is very good, I won’t be coming back since I’m from out of town, and the cleanliness and customer service issues really stood out.

Waited for ten minutes, two staff serving three groups at tables and my party was completely ignored at the door. Other people came and went but we couldn’t even get acknowledged. Food looked great, never got a chance to find out.

The pizza is great. The owner was there and you can tell he’s dedicated to great food and service. The decor could use an update and wish there was outside seating for a hot summer night. Pretty scorching sitting inside in August. But I know that’s not normal for this area so inside is probably best most of the time of year. Would definitely order this pizza again but more likely delivery or take out. The crust was delicious and could withstand to go for sure.

We picked up a pickle pizza on the way to Mt Currie. The staff were very friendly, the pizza was made fresh and was delicious!

Service is absolute trash, and the pizza could have been good of they made them all the same. 4 large pizzas, 3 are the same. Buddies had double the cheese and actually had sauce, half my pizza didnt have cheese and barely had any sauce on it. Looks like half the employees are teenagers that are absolutely useless

We had tried to eat here 3 times before and for whatever reason we could just never get in. Either an event was happening or they were just closing early.
On the fourth try it was becoming a running joke, but we got in. Service was a bit slow despite not being very busy, but they were very nice and helpful. Lighting was a bit dark and there's not even a decibel of background music to take the edge off the silence, but the decor has a nice simple vibe to it.
The star of this show was the pizza. Fantastic. Great dough in a woodfired oven just can't be topped. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. We went for a couple normal pizzas but there are some weird toppings available.
Definitely will return!

If you are too busy to take orders, you should call the person and let them know that you cannot deliver their order. Otherwise you’ve left a customer hungry and sad.

If you are really busy, and it is a Saturday night, and you cannot deliver the pizza that was ordered (for whatever reason) you should call them. You asked for their phone number for a reason. This leaves five people very hungry and very grouchy.

I strongly recommend the Spicy Italian pizza 😋

I also wanted to try the Funguy, but they don’t offer it in a large 😢

Today at 3:00 we went to this beautiful place where they had the best pizza ever Joe Pedro's in squamish we were riding our bike from Coquitlam to squamish and I was looking for a pizza place and my husband found this pizza place oh my God is it ever amazing the owner his name is Joe amazing we got there
The door was open for the restaurant Joe came out the restaurant is not open until 4:00 so we asked if it's okay we stay here in the restaurant until your restaurant is ready to serve pizza Joe said yes that to me is so appreciated most places will not let you stay their restaurant before they open that's good business so young man for me door pizza he was amazing he be there pizza and it was like Art if anyone ever wants to go to squamish and have a fantastic pizza and good service and good people this is the place I would recommend it to anybody if my family came to visit me from Montreal I would bring them there to have a pizza all you folks in squamish lucky to have an awesome pizza place please continue supporting Joe and his pizza place it's amazing it's worth the drive Ride just to eat this pizza there was a young lady there also working there kind person excellent excellent staff members because they have a cool boss may God bless you I need a restaurant continue serving the people in squamish and all over lower mainland thank you so much yours truly Gloria and Amir🫂☀️☀️✨✨✨✨🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍕💽🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Very disappointed in the service on my visit we were sat in the corner and forgotten about. Other guests who arrived after us got their meal and bills well before our order was brought out and it wasn't even our order… we asked to speak with a manager and no one showed up.

Don’t order more then one pizzas because apparently they can only make 1 at a time.. don’t know if I can believe that…

Very very disappointed in this service.
