It replicates authentically the feel of a greasy, oil filled atmosphere in a neighborhood diner in Japan, just with prices that are sadly inflated due to cost of living issues. The food was about the level of what you’d find in a lower end Japanese izakaya like eatery. Definitely recommend checking out other options nearby instead if you want better Japanese food

I've been travelling around vancouver, whistler and squamish, eating out almost every meal and worrying about my travelling budget.
But not here. You can get full for as low as $5 for a teriyaki beef roll or $10 for their specialty karage roll which by the way is hands down the best karage i've ever had. Suits my asian palate perfectly.
