after a huge hike on the Sea to Sky Trail i was pleasantly surprised to find vegan options at the cafe — a really delicious tempeh blt with hasbrowns and a lavender matcha. was about $20 for everything which i think was totally worth it.
Lovely atmosphere. We hiked up the Sea to Summit trail on 4/4/25, starting in the early AM and ending up at the Sky Pilot restaurant for lunch.
To call this a “restaurant” does it a gross disservice. It is a point in the sky. A lovely lookout. A reward at the end of a tough hike. And pretty good food.

We came here on Christmas Eve while camping at Porteau Cove. Although we go up the gondola often for hiking, we had never eaten here before except for snacks. There is a special menu for Christmas. I had the winter root vegetable stew and my partner had turkey chili. Both were excellent, and very large servings.
