This very thoughtful bakery brought our entire Emergency Department staff the yummiest gingerbread people on Christmas Eve. Nice texture, lots of molasses and delicious! Note they were rapidly eaten by staff!
Thank You from VGH ED!

After see the stellar reviews, we decided to visit here on our way back from Whistler.

The baked goods were delicious, but the coffee was bland and not strong at all.

Unfortunately, what made it worse was the service. My wife was in front by the counter, waiting for someone to take her order, but they kept ignoring her and asking people behind her for their order. When she told them that she was waiting for a while to order, there was no apology or explanation as to why they couldn’t take her order; instead, they sounded annoyed and just asked her “so what do you want to have?”.

Maybe the person at the counter was in a bad mood or having a bad day, but it does not excuse the way they acted towards her.

I hope that this review serves as a reminder to management and staff that training is important, and how they treat customers is important as well.

Small take-out pastry shop & bakery with both savory sandwiches and sweet pastries. Located in an industrial area and frequented by locals and is takeaway only.

Amazing selection of pastries - has never let me down the handful of times I've been. I always seem to get something different, so I can't even recommend something specific. Tons of parking in front. Highly recommend!

I’m not sure what the fuss about this place is. A couple people told me to visit but there’s nothing special (sorry if this sounds like a Vancouver bakery snob, cuz I am). Their cream-filled croissants are apparently their seasonal specialty, but then I remembered that there La Saison de Patisserie in Vancouver. I tried their sourdough ($8, good deal) which was alright. And their oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, which was okay too, but $2.50 for a cookie on the smaller side and nothing absolutely unique, I felt it was a bit much.
