I’m not sure what the fuss about this place is. A couple people told me to visit but there’s nothing special (sorry if this sounds like a Vancouver bakery snob, cuz I am). Their cream-filled croissants are apparently their seasonal specialty, but then I remembered that there La Saison de Patisserie in Vancouver. I tried their sourdough ($8, good deal) which was alright. And their oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, which was okay too, but $2.50 for a cookie on the smaller side...
2024 Eats: BC #10, Cafe/bakery #2; had high hopes for this place as a friend said it was a must-visit in Squamish.
We ordered a pain au chocolat, a lemon tart, and a seasonal, blueberry tart/cheesecake.
The pain au chocolate was quite a letdown (maybe because it was later in the day?). The lemon tart and blueberry cheesecake were both good but not wow.
Not apples to apples, but I strongly preferred Bread Warehouse in Pemberton.
