This was one of the best wine experiences we have had. Colin was so knowledgeable, it really felt like we were the only ones there, we were treated so well!

Such a beautiful garden and location. Colin was absolutely fantastic, we loved his run downs and he was really personable. Gorgeous place, would recommend.

Each year, we spend just over a week touring the various wine regions of the beautiful Okanagan and have experienced many many tastings. We had limited knowledge of the 8th Generation Winery beyond the one delicious wine I obtained via a wine club.

Based on our experience, this winery falls in a very special category. Beautifully crafted wines of unmistakable skill; a kind and attentive pourer despite how busy it was with walk-ins; the grounds are impeccable for a tasting in beautiful surroundings that were delightfully unexpected at first sight of the location. We loved the renovation of the building.

By now, I hope it is evident just how much we loved our experience! Thank you so much for the hospitality and delicious tasting experience. We will most assuredly be back!

We had a good time with Connie! She was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. The wine and cider were great. Peaceful picnic area with beautiful views.

I was really excited to come and check out this vineyard after a server in Victoria BC from a restaurant I visited raved about the wine, so maybe my expectations were set too high. I visited this place with my boyfriend and our well behaved dog traveling through the Okanagan. We made a special stop to visit. The vibe was not super friendly or welcoming on arrival and we felt less than comfortable about having a dog even though they said we were OK to stay for a tasting outside with the dog. Another couple arrived just as we sat down and the server seemed obviously bothered that they had a dog making us really feel unsure if we should even stay. The wine was ok. The service was impersonalble and the overall experience was not great. The outside sitting area was nice. I would not go here again and would have a difficult time recommending it. More important than the quality of the wine would be the way your experience leaves you feeling, and the experience can possibly make the wine taste better in my opinion! With so many other options in the Okanagan I would say go try something else... especially if you have a dog!

What a beautiful property. We did the tasting and ended up joining the wine club and brought some back home with us. A must visit in Summerland

I went on a wine tasting experience. It was great to hear the story about their family and their grape growing challenges and the wine making challenges caused by weather and other factors. I bought 2 bottles of wine.

It would really be great if you could do a tour of your production warehouse. It does not have to be perfectly clean organized because it is a work space. I would be willing to $ pay 10 for a tour like that it would cover your possible extra costs for this.

Rave: Patio, dog friendly, kind staff, amazing wines, and tasting fees waived with purchase (which is becoming a rarity in the valley)!

8th Generation Blanc de Noir had me coming back for that glorious bottle of Okanagan summer, but this time I brought my friend, a 13lb Morkie who loves quality time with her mom. 8th Generation's patio was beyond perfect for a mommy doghter wine tasting. Connie went above and beyond, bringing Mia her own sample bowl of water and kindly asking if she would like a treat, making Connie her new favourite person. It's small touches like this that really stand out and show the staff values the customer experience and that even extends to our furry friends. The shade and grass left Mia happy as can be while her mom sampled wines. Connie was so knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my questions knowledgeably. I've never had anything but a beautiful experience at 8th Gen and always enjoy my time and the staff every year is stellar, welcoming, and always fun. Can't say enough about the Blanc de Noir and it's currently my favourite white wine in the valley!!
