Katie your expertise was valued and your bubbly energy !! The Malbec was my fav , definitely needed a bottle !
Had a lovely afternoon doing a tasting with an Antipasto plate. Thank you Amy for all your explanations about the wine. Found 4 wines I love and didn’t even try them all!! Now a wine club member! Such a gem in my own backyard!
Beautiful location and great tasting wines. We had John as our server both times we were there and appreciated his warm friendly personality along with his knowledge of the wines. Would definitely recommend!
I did the Raised in Concrete Tour & Tasting and highly recommend. We had the absolute best experience and it was one of our absolute favorite tastings. In particular, Katie, our guide/host, was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, we were treated so well. A true example of customer service excellence. A big thanks to Katie!
A truly pet friendly patio! We were in town for the dog show and had our pup with us. We were not rushed at all considering we came in at 4:20pm when they close at 5:00pm. Our sommelier, I’m bad at names, really took an interest in what spoke to my partner’s preferences since he’s not traditionally a wine drinker.
Katie, our tasting server, was incredible. She was so knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The quality of wines here is great, highly recommend!
John met us outside with sparkling wine! He then showed us the concrete barrels and explained the reasoning behind this method. He was great at explaining with wines! What a great time and good wine! We bought several bottles! Worth a stop!
I am head over heels in love with this winery! A friend took me to visit Haywire Winery recently (it was my first time there). We had a lovely afternoon tasting wines, nibbling on snacks and enjoying the sun. Haywire produces exceptionally good wines! They have an elegance and balance that really sets them apart from their competitors. The staff were delightful and rounded out an absolutely perfect day.
Beautiful winery, with really attentive staff. John took the time to show us around and explain their philosophy and how they make wine. He then did a great job of explaining all of their wines during the tasting, which really helped us enjoy the experience. We ended up buying 6 bottles and joining the wine club!
We visited Haywire on our way back from the Kettle Valley steam train ride. We didn’t make a reservation, but got in right away. However, I definitely recommend making one, because we did get the last available table on a rainy day.
At any rate! The winery is beautiful, and the hospitality given by everyone was welcoming and so friendly! The architecture and design of the winery is really what I like to point out - it is so modern, a lot more contemporary than others in the area. I had asked about the formed concrete work (because it is outstanding!!) one of the founders used to do concrete work, before opening the winery.
I also love the story behind the name “Haywire!” We really enjoyed all of the wine we tasted. Will be back next time for sure.

Stopped in at Haywire based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a fantastic experience! JD did my tasting and made it quite memorable. A must stop if you like bubbles and interesting liquors! Great views and great wine.
Wonderful experience. Really affordable, really great service. Their seasonal lemonade and was to die for. And great view obviously. Definitely worth checking out.
Have been to Haywire two years in a row and have come away with a grin on my face each time. The wine tasting is an amazing experience, guided by the wonderful staff, namely Katie, John, and Amy. The charcuterie board was just incredible and complimented the wine so well.
Super friendly greeting & lovely glass of bubbly to start. Very informative about all the wines & even showed us the unique cement barrels.
Very enjoyable wines & beautiful views. Highly recommend!
Amazing place and wonderful organic wines. I signed up for the wine club!! John was a amazing host. He explained the wines really well and showed us the process of the making of the wine. I can't wait for my wine to arrive in the mail!
