This is a fine winery with great wines at fair prices. The owners are knowledgeable, and “hands on”. The owners are on the property and are pleased to explain their wine philosophy & techniques.

Amazing tasting and great host.

Perfect experience, excellent wine. Our party took 6 wines amongst 4 people. Will be coming back!

I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to do this review as Silk Scarf is my long time favorite wine and I have been a member of their wine club for well over 10 years now. Ruth and Roie are fantastic people who treat their customers very well. In over 10 yrs I only got one bottle that tasted off and they included a free replacment in my next shipment. All their wines are amazing, but my personal favs are the Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz Reserve and for whites the Viognier. Definitely visit if you find yourself in Summerland!!

We decided to stop in for a quick tasting at Silkscarf Winery. Beautiful tasting room with a couple of stools to sit at. Our pourer wasn’t the friendliest and impatient.

Tastings are $7.00/person for 4 pours but only waived if you buy two bottles. Nutty. Good thing is you can select any of their 16 wines. Wine bottles are $26.97 to $39.95.

- 2018 Shiraz reserve - don’t see a shiraz often. Smooth with black pepper notes.
- 2021 Gewurz fizz - light, off dry sparkling. Good bubbles.
- 2022 Viognier
- 2020 PGV - slightly sweeter than the viognier.

After 7 years of being a wine club memeber I continue to be excited with the wines that are being produced. My two favorites for the summer are the Viognier and the Chardonnay.
For a wonderful after dinner treat I highly recommend the Syrah Forte.

GREAT wine! We did a wine tour with a group of ladies. This was one of our stops. The owner was a fun hostess with great wines! Would absolutely recommend stopping here and will be back again!!

Super friendly and fantastic wine. Fee was waived with purchase of 2 bottles - not and issue here!

Thank you so much to Roie and Ruth for a fun and entertaining tasting. Our BCWAS (British Columbia Wine Appreciation Society) members all agreed that your winery was among the favorites! We fell in love with so many of the wines, but a shout out to the 2018 Ensemble and Gewurz fizz as well as the Saignee... maybe because of the time of the year and it being warm, but these really stood out. And thanks for fitting 35 of us in your tasting room!

Very cute wine tasting room with outside seating but we were not offered a tasting while waiting outside for a group to finish. Most wines on the dry side. We loved the ensemble blanc - light and sweeter white wine that we did end up purchasing. $7 for 4 tastings but only waived if you purchase 2 bottles of wine - never have come across having to buy 2, per tasting, to have the tasting fee waived.
