Had an amazing experience at this family run winery! It was definitely one of the top ones we visited!! We had a tasting and a sample of their delicious ice wine which were phenomenal. The property is stunning and a great place to relax with a glass of wine. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Summerland.

Very disappointed.... We stopped in during operating hours and not a person in sight. We browsed the tasting room and waited but no one ever came to greet us. Eventually we left after feeling uncomfortable being in the space with no staff. Won't take time to stop by again. Which is sad cause it looks like a lovely place.

I highly recommend this winery! Was biking on the nearby trans Canada trail and decided to have a lunch break at this local winery. It was well worth the slight detour… the wine tasted great, and the food was fresh and very tasty.
The views were wonderful and relaxing… even the owner came over a greeted me.

Smoke hung in the air the day we decided to visit SummerGate Winery. They definitely have a lot of seating outside, with many picnic tables spaced evenly across their fresh cut, green grass.Laura poured our wine today. I’ll note that this is a certified organic winery.This is a pleasant experience where you can sit outside at a picnic table, utilize the sun umbrella for some shade, and await your flight of six tasty wines to arrive.When they get to your table, you enjoy a brief description of each wine, and some detail about the organic certification. Then you are left to take in the views of the valley, orchards, and in our case, a little bit of wildfire smoke hanging in the air.It’s a good winetasting experience. If you prefer being served your flight, then left alone to enjoy yourself in the winds.The 2022 Muscat Ottonel was a highlight of the tasting experience for me. If you enjoy fantastic tasting old grape juice, visit this winery.
