Food was terrible in my opinion. That tiramisu was the worst I’ve ever had. Someone needs to look what a real tiramisu looks like (hint: it’s not a cake)

The food is amazing! We had the lobster risotto and gnocchi. I love the flavours of the risotto and the gnocchi was as fluffy as a cloud and perfectly seasoned. Our server, Hannah, was friendly and attentive. The perfect place to go to enjoy a little piece of Italy.

Feb 28/2024 We waited for the restaurant to open at 4:30 PM. When we entered, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. We were seated at a table for two, against a solid wall, no windows, I would deem it to be the most undesirable seat in the house. There were several tables by windows that sat 4. Okay, I get it, there was just two of us even though we would’ve finished our meal before the supper crowd came in. I then asked if we could be seated by a window in the lounge area. Again we were the only people in the restaurant. The waiter said sure, and seated us by a half window. My husband had a view, and I sat beside the solid wall with no view. Right behind us was an open table for two with a full window. When we were well into our meal, he sat two ladies in that seat with a view. At that time the entire restaurant was only 5% occupied. My point is, we love going to Sun Peaks for the ambience. I enjoy the atmosphere of the ski village. I like to linger over a cocktail and enjoy the experience. We didn’t even bother to order a drink, ate our food and left within a half hour. I won’t ever go back to this place, because of the waiter’s lack of accommodation with us; being the ONLY customers in the establishment. The food wasn’t spectacular and the menu was basic. No lasagne, no pizza, no linguine, no ravioli. No bread with the meal.

Really good italian place. We had the lobster risotto (delicious), the bolognese pappardelle and the fusilli fennel salsiccia.PS. Need to make reservations well in advance.

This restaurant is considered the best in Sun Peaks. The service is attentive and enthusiastic, and the food is delicious. Bison Veal stew is very soft and delicious, highly recommended! Due to the large number of diners, it is recommended to reserve a seat.

Great multi-course Italian dinner experience - attended with a fairly large group. Food was excellent, traditional Italian-style, flavourful and not heavy. The meat entrée course was amazing! Great service, and they even did a fantastic job accommodating the kids in our group. Sun Peaks is fortunate to have a restaurant of this quality at its resort.

Great service, appetizer and desert. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly. I just had to take one star off as my main was too dry. I ordered pesto pasta but the pasta was on the dryer side. Otherwise everything was

We spent 4 nights in Sun Peaks. This was by far our best restaurant experience. The food was outstanding; Celine was our server and her recommendations were spot on. Must return.

Delicious Italian food. Large serves. Great cocktails, loved the wine & oh my, the Italian donut dessert, save room, or take it all home! Gluten-free meals avail too. Charmaine, our server was wonderful! Best dinner we had in Sun Peaks.

We ate out most nights while in Sun Peaks over Christmas and New Year. Capones Italian was the standout culinary experience. Friendly, efficient staff served truly Italian dishes for very reasonable prices. They even had my favourite Pecorino wine from Italy. An unforgettable meal. Don’t miss it!
