The cheese in the cheese fondue was lovely, but everything to dip in it was pickeled, even asparagus which was disappointing, more fresh veg needed ? the chocolate fondue was

The food was great. Service was prompt and helpful. A great location in the middle of the village. The setting was just the right mood.

I was a little skeptical after reading all the negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent and plentiful. We ordered a cheese fondue for 2 and a meat fondue for 2 and we couldn't finish all the food. We are a family of 2 adults, a 13 year old, a 12 year old and a 9 year old. We were forcing ourselves to eat some of the leftover meats and veggies because they tasted so good even though we were all full. The service was excellent. Very polite and attentive staff. My only suggestion would be to do something about the smell. I am not sure if it was the smell of cheese or gas as you walk in, but there is an unpleasant smell when you first enter the restaurant. Maybe invest in some air purifiers given that you probably cannot open the windows.Otherwise, a great experience!

Wow! Honestly I was a little skeptical after reading some of the previous reviews online but we decided to give it a try anyhow and we were SO HAPPY we did!Our family of 4 had the fondue sampler and it was definitely enough for all of us ( 2 adults, 2 teenagers ). It was so good - we ordered another dessert because it literally was gone in seconds and just the fondue experience was fun for our kids. Our server was fantastic, his name was Patrick. Thoughtful and some good small chatting! They have a very nice selection of BC’s finest wines! ( Cassini, Burrowing Owl, Hester Creek , etc… )Overall - we loved it! The whole experience. A very cozy setting but great for families and laughs or a date night. We will come back again :)

Was skeptical after reading the reviews but decided to go anyways and are very glad we did. We got the cheese fondue for 2 and meat fondue for 2 to split among 4 of us and we couldn’t finish it all. The standout was the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. Great service and location.

Let me start by saying our server Patrick was lovely and makes a delicious Caesar drink.Sadly that is where the positive review ends. The accompanying vegetables included canned corn and bottled pickled peppers, the broth had little to no flavor, portions for the cost of the meal were inadequate, even taking into account the location of a resort destination. Again praising Patrick for having our broth reheated as it was insufficiently warm to cook the meat the first time. Can neither recommend this establishment nor will we ever return.

It was so disappointing we had to laugh it off so we wouldn’t ruin the rest of our evening Cheese fondue was ok but what’s with the olives, pickles and chopped up canned baby corn!?! Maybe add some apples? The pork and beef portions are to be cooked in some kind of watered down broth and for flavours let give you bits of a variety of dips. I ate two pieces. The seafood portions were decent and seemed fresh. There are no vegetables with the sampler for two. I don’t considered a plate full of baby potatoes a vegetable. More olives , pickled banana peppers and pickled asparagus is the only other “vegetable” they give you. It was horrendous. The chocolate at the end was ok. Please save your money and go elsewhere!

We visited here on a Monday evening as a party of 4. Very welcoming on arrival & we were so glad we'd made a reservation as the place was full. Our server Suzie was lovely & very efficient & friendly too. We all decided to have the "Taster" fondue, priced @ $109 per couple, absolutely delicious. To start you have the cheese served with bread, olives, gherkins & baby corn, followed by meat & fish, which is served with a broth & dips & baby potatoes, & to finish a selection of fresh fruit, marshmallow, biscuit & delicious chocolate. I strongly recommend you visit here whilst in sunpeaks.

Really wasn’t impressed, over priced for what it was

The cheese Fondue was delicious. We got there early as they are strict about arrival times and we had another event later that evening. I think if we had gone later in the evening the place would have been more lively. So I marked it down slightly fir atmosphere when the night we went

First, not a bad word about the service. We were kindly welcomed and well served throughout the evening.Secondly, you get ripped off. We ordered a main course cheese fondue. The amount of cheese you get in the fondue, at the price of $68, is ridiculous. I am a European and am used to traditional fondues (Austria, Switzerland and France). Over there, you get a whole pan full of cheese and the bread/additionals run out before the cheese runs out. Here, you get less than 10% of the usual amount of cheese. When you ask for an extra portion of cheese, you have to pay another $39 for this. Ridiculous! Moreover, the amount of cheese fondue for the main course is exactly the same as the cheese fondue for the starter, while the main course is $29 more expensive. This restaurant takes advantage of the fact that the average visitor is not familiar with traditional portions and makes unreasonable money from this. People are being ripped off and should be aware of this.

Service very friendly, the fondue tasted good! The portions are much too small, fondue for two people is enough for one person at most, accordingly too expensive! Value for money not at all!
