As locals, the Magic Cattle Guard has become our favourite restaurant for date night because the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable (and cheaper than other places in the village), the atmosphere is great and the staff are all nice and ensure to greet you when you arrive or leave on top of great table service. Highly recommend for good comfort food. Plenty of parking as well if you are driving there.

Came here for the first time last night and it was amazing! We got the beef shawarma, chicken nuggets, and the bbq pork baked potato, and it was all delicious! They make some of their own sauces too so definitely give them a try! Will for sure be back!

Excellent service and great food tonight at Magic Cattle Guard! Fernando started us out with an outstanding Mango Margarita. Not too sweet and the right strength to prepare us for the feast coming next. My wife loved her Smash Burger with its savory crust. My Beef Shawarma had loads of spicy tender beef beside the diced tomatoes and onions, shredded lettuce, dill pickles and delicate garlic sauce all wrapped in a pita. We complemented these with a basket of Donair Fries of crispy potatoes with shaved beef, diced tomatoes and onions topped with sweet Donair Sauce. So good that we had to take out our Brownie (not skipping that!) for midnight snacking. Thanks MCG!
