We were in for lunch yesterday and I must say that Jo was one of the best servers we have had, the food on the other hand was not the greatest, they ran out of soup and the back up soup was to be a chowder, it was not a chowder, and it was to spicy to eat, I have been at Masa a few times over 22 years, and we usually go to bottoms across the walkway, so I think I will continue to do so,

It's nicely located and family friendly. Great views from tall windows and ceiling. Unfortunately, the service was awful. One shouldn't have to wait just to ask for silverware and napkins when food had already arrived... Food was hit and miss. Crispy chicken burger was good but pork belly appetizer was not fit for consumption as one cannot humanly chew it. Staffing shortage?

We went in for lunch and were appalled at the lack of service, apparently servers were being forced to take 30 minute breaks in the middle of the busiest day of the year. So there wasn't enough staff to handle the guests. Basically the company was costing it's self hundreds of dollars in revenue to save 9 dollars in labor. Ridiculous stuff from upper management
