Cafenara, located in central Terrace is an great cafe with some amazing food. The service was quick, the staff were friendly, and I would recommend this place to anyone who may be looking for a nice lunch/dinner spot.

Very nice coffee with even better deserts. The atmosphere is warm and gentle- not too overwhelming. Beautiful coffee shop. The lunches at cafenara are always packed with unique flavours. Very clean place to eat.
Tried the veggie pad Thai. It's mostly noodles. Hardly any sauce. Two little cubes of tofu. I would not recommend. Staff was nice no concerns there.

So far, I’ve had lattes and Canadianos (yes, I’ve personally changed the name already), and they’re the best I’ve ever had. The coffee is delicious, not bitter or too strong, just a beautiful flavour. I also had an apple strawberry muffin, and it was quite simply fantastic. Not too sweet (thank goodness!), fluffy, soft, and full of fruit, with a crunchy top crust. Perfect! I have yet to try their hot meals, but I really have no doubt they are very good as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is bright and cheerful. I have made this place my “go to.” If you haven’t tried it yet, you should, and I recommend the slight detour if you’re travelling through. You’ll be glad you did! Prices are pretty much on par, but the quality is far above the average.
