Honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had in Terrace!! I ordered bbq chicken, The crust was cooked to perfection, they are more than generous with their pizza toppings! It is definitely my new favourite pizza place in town. It was fast delivery and the delivery man was the nicest person ever.

Work on the highways six months a year n travel from town to town . Three years ago stumbled across this establishment and it was a match made in heaven.. great food great staff service is top shelf. If you’re in terrace and you don’t try the food here you are doing yourself a serious injustice.. checkers is the spot !!!

I still remember the first time I got into Terrace after a very long day of working & driving. Decided I wanted something fairly quick but also filling. Lone behold, right across the street on Greig Avenue in Terrace was what I was looking for. First time I tried their Pizza 🍕 and it was great. Never under cooked or soggy from grabbing take out. Lots of cheese & meat for the meat lover in me. Every time I end up back in Terrace I make sure to stop in and try something else if possible. Well, as you would know it, I came in to place an order & noticed one of their cooks checking on roasted chicken wings that they actually bake. I dare you to try & find better wings in Terrace. The Honey/Hot wings were so moist and also charred nicely on the outside & they literally fall off the bone 🦴 and melt in your mouth. The Caesar salad I ordered as well, came with fresh grated Parmesan, croutons, bacon bits & the perfect amount of dressing for the amount of romaine. Super Great owners, staff & everyone that I’ve engaged with are so friendly & make you feel like you’re at one of your relatives it’s such a family friendly environment. The name of the place may be Checkers Pizza, but they have to being playing chess for how good this little hidden gem on Greig Avenue is 5/5 gold stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have injured my ankle,I'm having issues walking, When I picked up my order and owner Tammy saw me hobbling, she kindly offered to carry my order to my car . Thank you Tammy , Tammy goes above and beyond for her customers, sets a great example for her employees on to deliver grade A service.
The spaghetti and garlic toast I ordered was yummy 😋

We ordered 2 pan pizzas. The dough was tasteless, and after the first bite, I knew that it wasn't for me. It's more like a cracker or biscuit than a traditional style crust. Also, light on the toppings for the price.

Ordered a takeout pizza tonight and it was a 10/10. The sauce was flavourful, dough was perfectly cooked and had the perfect amount of toppings. The owner was super friendly as well! Will definitely be eating there anytime I’m in Terrace!

I’m very impressed with this establishment! Drove from Edmonton area to Terrace. Unfortunately I got here late. Met the owner and he was very appollogetic even though it wasn’t his fault I showed up after closing. We got chatting and he says I’ll tell you what I can make you a chicken Cesar salad. I did not expect that and it was absolutely perfect! What an amazing business owner, the kind of guy I could totally be good friends with. I will be recommending this place to all my coworkers that end working in the area, and will definitely be back to try the pizza and pasta!
I was really impressed with the pizza I got today. The crusts I’ve had on previously ordered pizzas was the crispy and greasy dough, the Perogy pizza was designated as “traditional dough”. It was flavourful, fluffy, and soft! The sour cream was a delightful addition for toppings. The staff were friendly and hardworking. Thank you for a great takeout experience!

I had Checkers pizza last night for the very first time. I was not disappointed. It was so good. Plenty of toppings, and no shortage on cheese…. And I love cheese. The owner was very kind and friendly. He talked with me while my second pizza was being made (even though he was busy), answering my questions, teaching me how their dough and cheese are made, as well their wings and how to save when placing an order if I need lots of pizza or just the right amount. The pizza dough was amazing, and still the next day. I even loved that I could eat the end crust. So much flavour. As for the wings… this pizza place does it correct. It’s worth the wait for the wings here. Cooked all the way through and amazingly the perfect amount of sauce. I’m drooling just thinking of it. Very clean place, easy to find, good parking, very friendly staff and owner. I’m definitely making this my #1 pizza place from now on. I would have photos but the pizzas and wings have already disappeared. 😃
