About two years ago, I visited here while traveling alone with my 3 year old daughter. On the way to our hotel, I accidentally left my phone in a taxi. I didn’t realize it until after we checked in and came here for breakfast, and I was extremely panicked.
When I explained the situation to the staff, she was incredibly kind and helpful. She lent me her phone to make calls, showed genuine concern, and kept reassuring me until I calmed down. She even kept our food warm and never rushed us.
Being alone with a child in an unfamiliar place and losing my phone was truly stressful, and her kindness is something I still remember and feel grateful for today. This place offers more than good food. It offers warmth and humanity. Thank you so much.

Asked for soft poached eggs in my Benedict. They came medium poached almost well poached.. then the server argued with me. Without even looking at them.. I said look at them . She did and left in a huff. At least the cheque was correct

There was a slight discrepancy with my food but they were very gracious and quick to fix it. I love their service, and every single other time we go the food is delicious. The one serving and seating is was so sweet and cheerful. Always my family’s favourite place to eat when We’re in Terrace.
