Overall okay experience. The food is okay; although I feel like it is not “authentic”Filipino-taste enough. But might be because of the town’s demographics (i.e. you have to modify taste to the majority of the customers’ palette). Good-sized portions. Nice ambiance, and beautiful mural inside.

Previously if you wanted Lola’s you’d have to stand in a long line at the farmer’s market but not anymore! Now in a permanent location (same plaza as Misty River Books) they have a handful of tables that seat two. A popular lunch spot for good reason. They also have lots of pre-made takeaway options as well.

Fantastic family run restaurant. The food is made fresh, right in front of you and tastes great. The wife has been searching for BBQ pork steam buns since she lived in Calgary almost a decade and these buns had her doing a happy dance at the kitchen counter!!
