We ordered take-out. The chicken chow mein turned out to be a plate of boiled noodles with a very thin top dressing of finely-ground chicken: flavourless and cheap. The mushroom rice was similar a plate of rice with what appeared to be sliced mushrooms from a can as a top dressing. Equally tasteless. The sweet and sour pork came as dry, deep-fried pork balls with a side of sweet & sour sauce filling about one half of a styrofoam coffee cup. (The tiny serving of sauce was a particular disappointment as we could not use it to flavour the tasteless dishes). The saving grace was the curried beef chop suey. It had generous vegetables and we ordered it hot, and though it wasn’t particularly spicy, it did have flavour — which we tried to spread over the tasteless rest. We will certainly not give them another try.
