Absolutely terrible service in the morning. 10 employees in the back yelling in foreign languages while I sit at the front counter for 10 minutes waiting to be helped. Absolutely embarrassing.

Went to get breakfast. Service took forever, like usual at this location. I've literally been the only customer early in the morning and still waited five or ten minutes. No other vehicles in the drive thru, no other customers inside. Just me. Waiting.
And waiting.
Today, the only other walk in customer and I even had a conversation about how slow their service is. He'd been waiting the whole time I was to get his food, and staff didn't even remember his coffee.
I got to the front finally to order and was told they were cash only. Rather than putting a sign on the door or the counter, rather than telling me while I was standing and waiting five minutes to order. Yes, I get systems go down, technology is unreliable. Other businesses don't use that as an excuse to be belligerent with their customers. I was even accused of swearing, and I never swear at people, even when angry.
Then the staff spent fifteen minutes arguing with me over whether that was a poor experience for the customer. I'm a customer. I am having a poor experience.
I wouldn't have taken food from staff if they'd paid me in cash at that point. Won't go to that Tims ever again. There's another one in town. I have to drive rather than walk, but it's worth it not to have terrible customer service.
Terrible, terrible customer service. And anyone that knows me knows that I go to Tim Hortons all the time, in fact tell people if they do't choose the restaurant, Tims is my default. I'm not going to stop going to Tims over experience at the one location.
My advice, drive to the Tims on Keith. Avoid the one on Lakelse.
Reviews here are also obviously astroturfed (fake). A lot of one star reviews from actual customers and a lot of 5 star reviews. That polarization is a clear symptom of fake reviews. There's no balance, no spectrum.
That's more a Google problem. Allowing fake reviews kills the credibility of the site.
