We went for my mom's 84th birthday dinner last night. What a great night. Fabulous prime rib dinners and seafood. The service was fantastic. .shootout to our server Kendall. Thanks so much for the excellent service, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Til the next time...

I went for prime rib dinner last night and it was excellent. I really loved the veg on the dinner plate, it was all cooked perfectly. It was my first time trying this restaurant, and I look forward to going back again.

My favourite restaurant for NY Cut steak. After dozens of times of dining at Micheals I have yet to be served a NY steak that has been a tough cut in any manner, and at a working man's price.

Waited 65 minutes for my appetizer. Then had to ask to take the plates because the table was a mess. Had to go up to the bar to get my half litre of red after 20 minutes of waiting for it. Our table ordered pizzas and main. Took one out and 40 minutes for Cesar salads….: and they forgot our garlic toast. Waited another 20 minutes for that. After asking for a refund on our food after one hour & 30 minutes waiting for pizzas and Cesar salad i decided to ask for a refund on our food as we had children under ten years old with our party. Their main server Tessa Davis then told me i would have the police called on me if i didn’t pay for our meals. Then proceeded to rudely snarl at a 15 year old family member for asking when he would get his meal as it was already 715 for our 530 dinner. Pizzas took 1 hour and 40 minutes minutes… and after complaining about the time our food took we got no service for drinks from this point on.
This restaurant is dated from the 80s and the worst service i have ever received in this town… if you can travel to castlegar or Nelson for dinner please do instead of visiting this sub par establishment.

Worst restaurant experience ever Had the worst experience in this restaurant. I was a customer of this restaurant for many years. I would order a pizza twice a month for over 8 years plus stop for many lunches and bringing in food for work functions. i probably spent well over 10k in the restaurant when i worked in Trail Saturday was the first time back in 3 yrs and was i ever disappointed mostly how the cook presented himself. My wife ordered lasagna and i had a beef dip. We also had calamari and zucchini sticks as a side order and a pizza to take home after we ate. When my beef dip and the wife lasagna arrived at our table my wife look at her lasagna and lifted up the cheese, There was no sauce on the noodles and the little meat that was on the top of noodles was stuck in the cheese. My wife sent it back as it was terrible and she shared my beef dip. When i went up to the counter to pay i could here the cook in the back loudly telling the waitress loudly there was nothing wrong with the lasagna. That's when i peep up and said the lasagna was terrible and had no sauce in it. Once i paid the rest of our meal for 78.85 the cook then came to the front till and told me to be quite as his daughter was there and that there was nothing wrong with the lasagna, He then told me to get out of the restaurant which i was leaving anyways. When i got out side he followed me and kept arguing to me outside that his food was all good and that never had any complaints before. I told him that he needs to be able to take some criticism if people are not happy with the food they are paying for. For some reason he would not let it go and kept following me into the parking lot at the end of the building. It felt like he wanted to fight me. Why else would a cook follow me into the parking lot after i left the restaurant. I will say that the pizza we took home tasted real good but i will never ever go back to the restaurant again just because they way the cook acted. If the cook was professional he should of come to our table and asked my wife why she sent the food back so he can maybe make changes instead of acting like he never ruined a order. Top-notch prime rib, escargot and Caesar salad - on par with Hy's in Vancouver. Great NY steaks and pizza as well. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly, welcoming staff. Highly recommend.

We went to have lunch here today. There were only 2 other tables with 2-3 people. We sat and waited for over 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We finally got our water. We looked at the menus, and by now, we were the only people in the restaurant. It still took another while for the waitress to get back to us to see what we wanted to order, we placed our order right away, because we were afraid it would take another while to even get our order taken. I will have to say, our food came quite quickly, but then why wouldn't it, we were the only customers in the place. We both ordered fish and chips. The fish was very good. The fries were kinda greasy. Our waitress Payton, was pleasent enough, but not attentive at all and I also don't think wearing a crop top working in a restaurant waiting tables is appropriate AT ALL. Didn't appreciate looking at her belly button while I was ordering. But the cod WAS very good, HOWEVER $2.00 is ridiculous for a little cup of tarter. I will not be back, unless things change for the better.!
