“Stopped in for a beer and to get out of the heat. Never expected to find such a cool lounge in Trail. With the wood paneling, cosy tables and exquisite stain glass I thought we stepped back in time to a 1920's jazz club.
It was quiet when we stopped in, and the manager was friendly and chatted with us for a bit. A surprising and refreshing find. I would to stop in again and try one of their cocktails, they all looked yummy.“

“Generally, we have an exceptionally good experience at the flying steam shovel. The last time though, the server was mediocre, seemed to have a little bit of an attitude, and just wasn't friendly or engaging. I am working my way through their whole menu, and this time I tried the chicken sandwich. It was terrible. Dry, over cooked chicken breast. With that said, the burgers,the fish and chips, poke bowl, and the beers on tap are exceptionally good and the servers are friendly,jovial, and engaging. So my five stars mostly reflects all my past experiences not just this one single time. This was the only time I was unhappy with the meal and service. Also need to point out that I believe this was a new server that I had never seen before.“
