The people working at Trail dairy queen don’t seem to know what a large plain cone should look like. Every second or 3rd time i go for a large cone I get the large cone part, but with way less ice cream than the 10 ounces it should be. It happened again today, i questioned the young guy , he said I can get him to weigh it, the other lad said that he did. The ice cream on the top was about half of what it should have been. What a rip off. For the $20 to $30 I spend there a week , will not be happening anymore. So disappointing, sure never had this continually happen in Kelowna over the last 50 years

We ordered 2 ice creams & 3 burgers but only got 2 of the burgers. When we called to let them know the lady (that took our order) said she heard us only ask for 1 then hung up on us. Our order was over $40 and she didn’t give us a receipt either so we can’t confirm if we paid for 3 burgers or just the 2 we received.
Unfortunately, poor customer service outweighs the overall experience.

This is a great example of what a good manager can do. Place was clean, burgers were not squished, but looked and tasted good and the staff was quick and friendly. Well done.

Staff were friendly however serving size for the price is ridiculous. We thought it was a mistake. We actually went back in to ask where the rest of our fries were. They said that was it. This will be my last visit at this Dairy Queen location.

Generally as good as any other DQ, holding back from 5 stars because the portion of fries you get with a chicken strip meal is egregiously small, even compared to other DQs. More fries!

every time i come here the food takes at least 15 mins, there is always a mistake with drinks or food. They always forget to provide cutlery with items in which it’s needed. I don’t like leaving negative reviews as fast food places are swamped and can have some crappy customers. But again this is at least the 4th time at this location that this has happened. Portions are small and overpriced, service is fine but constant mistakes and extremely slow. Lack of options makes it hard in trail, i hope they can get it together a bit.

Some of the young fellas that work here are especially great. Professional, well mannered, and I appreciated on several occasions how they spoke to my young children, getting them pumped up for ice cream with a red spoon.
It’s crazy to me this dairy queens serving sizes. As someone who has worked for this company you would think the staff at this location is paying for the icecream out of pocket. Every single time I go to this location I feel ripped off. Almost $9 for a 1/4 icecream in the confection. When asked about it they said that’s how it’s made.. no it’s not, it’s how it’s made at the trail location.

10x better than Castlegar's DQ, good service and good food. Fries are actually fresh and salted, the chicken strips don't taste stale (can't explain how Castlegar does that). Bathroom is cleaner than most bathrooms in Trail probably, definitely better than Castlegar's DQ in this aspect also.
